Sorry you've been hit by the October slide too....oh the fun 😶 I know what you mean about finally accepting your diagnosis/condition, it has only taken me 10 years!! I'm still trying to find the right balance, still trying to figure out pacing and I finally caved and bought my wheelchair so I can keep up with my family. Tho reading helps a lot!! I LOVE graphic novels, they would be perfect for you!! I have a few, one I loved was Alison, but the problem I found some of the text was small, even with my reading glasses on!! I wonder if you might like My Best Friends Exorcism by Grady Hendrix. There is an Audible version of it, I LOVED it. It went way to fast reding it, I finished it in about 3 1/2 days, so it may be what your looking for!! It's creepy, a bit gorey and I had a really great time with it!!! Hope you have a lovely weekend, what ever you get up to!!xx

I loved Jonathan Strange and Mr N but it's 37 hours long and TBH, it could've been pared down quite a lot. The world building and the magic system are wonderful, but my attention wandered. I love that talk about gaming and other non bookish things. I'm sorry to hear you've had a rough month, but I love your attitude. You are very positive ❤

Jonathan Strange is a huge chunkster of a book - so audio wise, it's probably going to be a day's worth of reading at least. I can't remember if it had multiple characters, but I think did struggle to keep up with it. There's a BBC drama of it that might still be on iPlayer to get the story.

Lovely vlog! I actually enjoy relaxed ‘slow’ vlogs so I wouldn’t worry about feeling like you have to be doing lots of things - this one is great. Just showing what you’re reading, making coffee, what you’re having for lunch, hanging out with your cats etc is nice to see. It was nice to see your hobby room and your cute cats! Random question but do you give them preventative flea treatment and if so what brand? I’m finding it hard finding a good preventative treatment as Frontline didn’t seem to work!

🖤💚 Thank you for this explanation. Our brains and bodys are a complete wonder so fascinating. We as humans never really appreciate it until we cant use something you've always been able too. Have you tried a dark eye patch to help you cut some of the light on street post or to help you read? The reason i ask is because i had a uncle with some similar and he use to wear a patch on his eye to help when reading. Even though he had 1 semi good eye and blind in the other he was able to run his fast food restaurant for many years until one day he just couldn't see properly anymore. 🖤💚
