Thanks for the helpful video. Do you think a 12.75" wide (32.4 cm) laptop could fit in there? The model you put in is just about 12" from what I can tell, and there looks to maybe be some more room

Seems like a pretty awesome sling but the lack of dividers is just a dealbreaker for me. The 10L version has dividers but that bag lacks the extra pockets which are super useful in this one. I guess the saying that there's no perfect camera bag rings true once again..
@GearandTech20 күн бұрын
Fair enough! There is so much choice on the market right now. A bag for every eventuality so very hard to find what works for you individually. For me this is an easy pack down bag that goes in a suitcase for that on holiday day carry. Most of the time on holiday the camera will be in your hand anyway so this will just contain all the other needs.
@warricksmith517812 күн бұрын
Belroy also makes a 10L sling targeted specifically to photographers --- it has soft (collapsible) dividers to add more organization and protection for camera gear, and (removable) straps that can you used to lash a tripod (or a coat) to the bottom of the bag. I just bought mine, and will be subjecting it to some rigorous testing in the coming months.
@alexven9212 күн бұрын
@ yes thank you I’ve actually bought a 10L because it seems like the best compromise for my wishes. It’s just that the extra pockets on the 9L (like tablet sleeve) seem pretty handy and it feels like they skimmed out on adding those to cut costs.

Surprisingly this Aluminium version isn't that filmsy. I use it mainly for a laptop tether table so It need to be super secure and stable for that type of work. Not sure how the Carbon fibre version would be though. I imagine it might feel flimsy based on it's weight. Anyone else have that version?

New guy question... Why dont canon ,(what i have, dont know others) have another built in metal rectangle slot at the bottom like the top?

Hopefully Canon will read and answer this. Otherwise no idea other than we all need different configurations.

But the sling strap feel freaking cheap and crapt!
@GearandTechАй бұрын
I think they are just trying to keep it as lightweight as possible. Much the same type of strap on most of these slings for this size range. How would you design it differently? Thanks

Comparing the 6L with the 9L. i'd rather have the smaller one, but want to ask, will the 6L one hold a DJI Mini 4 pro & controller and spare batteries? or do I need to go to the 9L to be safe. Going on an epic 3 weeks to New Zealand ... I also have an Insta360 flow gimble I use with my iPhone ..... Thanks. Great videos by the way !

Thanks for the vid! I actually have a Peak Design cuff and recently bought a Xiaomi 14 Ultra with the Photography Kit (which has a plug-in "grip" with a shutter button). The problem is that the PD anchor link string is too big to fit in the strap attachment of the grip. Will need to find one of those triangular metal "ring" as adapter. But yeah, for such an expensive camera phone, I want a strap if only to avoid dropping it.

@@GearandTech Wandrd 6L sling. I find the padding really consumes space. However, I suppose the primary purpose of the Wandrd is to safeguard your gear first.

Thanks for the video - quick info: the pull-tab is actually made for when you want to close the zippers with only one hand cause you got your camera in the other hand. you can close the clam-shell a bit with the tab, then easily use the zippers to meet in the middle and retain the tab. we used to do this with some bags in the military.

Yes they do just about. Obviously all depends on what you plan to mount on them both. 18mm on the X-E4 and 18-120 on the X-T4 fit all ok. Not too much space for anything else though.
