7:18 Those mirrors are perfection and would look incredible on my '23 BRZ. I can't stand the stock GR86/BRZ mirrors, they are way too chunky, especially when you are in the car looking out. I really want to figure out how to mount these mirrors in the stock door location on the BRZ. I guess I could have an adapter plate machined that would match the stalk and mate up with the stock mounting holes in the doors. Or better yet, if you did a production run of these mirrors with a custom stalk for the 2nd gen GR86/BRZ I think they would be a huge hit. Thoughts???

Enjoyable watch. Very late to the party. It would be the Exige from your comments it seemed more fun. I ran a Renault Clio 172 Cup for 100k miles and whilst it wasn't an expensive car it felt special for my budget & I loved how nimble & light weight she was! Surely a gas strut would not be a difficult retro mod from a specialist / manufacturer! Lack of light from headlights at night would drive me crazy though! A Lancia Stratos works rally light set-up might be the answer! Both cars sound fantastic.

You are quite right, the Evora is the better and more balanced car. A bit slower, but who cares. I can't agree with your "rubbish" comment about the seating position. For me it is absolutely perfect. I've driven 8 hours in it and still felt fresh.

I would have the evora,as i prefer the looks and the every day usage, i sure you can modify the seats if your a tall person😊

Just bought my (first) dream car, a 2005 Lotus Elise, im in the states so we dont have the V6 exige here... but this is by far and away the coolest and most tastefully one ive ever seen. One day id love to paint my Elise into a Porsche Ultraviolet purple... its one of my favorite colors and, as demonstrated excellently here, really suits a Lotus

That is an awesome build! Lotus is my favorite brand as they make exciting cars with so much emotion. I can't imagine the feeling you get when you walk towards your car. I bet you walk at half the speed just to cherish that moment even more.
