The top hose that was leaking is a pressure vent pipe to the atmosphere. They get clogged over time and need cleaning out to keep the pressure in the drum down.

Is the dismantling procedure the same for the 800X? I think it would be easier to crimp the proper plug than cold-patching the battery leads. I wish there were some way to replace the inevitably-broken frames as well!!! Maybe something 3D printed--it couldn't be any _less_ prone to breakage than the original.

Thanks! Yes, I turn mine on and it channels a demon and starts furiously threatening all mortal souls in the room. I pounced on it and rode it like a bull out of hell, rodeo styles. Then it coincided, and started screaming at me as it punched me through its own chassis. I got it in a choker hold just long enough I could reach around and hit the off button… and that would have been the end of it, but I couldn’t take my eyes off that alluring orange button… and the battle continues to this day.

Are you balancing your linen correctly. Sometimes if you put heavy items like towels or jeans in with lighter items the drum won't be balanced properly and cause the drum to bang or vibrate. Also make sure you put enough clothes in. Not enough clothes can cause an unbalanced drum when spinning.
@blaqwize11032 жыл бұрын
@@MG63 I just did a light load to test. I bought this machine second hand. The seller told me it worked. It works alright, I’ve got the battered soul to prove it. I’ve never met a machine so powerful. Although I think the shocks are gone. So I bought some shocks and I’m building up the courage to install them. But it’s not a priority in my already urgent life. I’m replacing an old washing machine that was built just after WWII. It is also a powerful bullet proof machine, it has 2 drums, a seperate drum for spin cycle, but it has tendency to destroy my clothes, by twisting them all up in a knot. Lucky I’m a rigger and an expert at untying knots. Although, I would like the luxury of employing a washing machine to wash my clothes so that I don’t have to. I’m just trying to work my way into the 21st century. Thanks for the advice, there’s a chance the machine is under loaded.

Thanks for your video. I have a W1918 and access to the shocks is only possible from the front. You are lucky to have side access. That said, how easy was it to loosen the bolts for the shocks replacement?

I also have a W1918. Still trying to figure out how to get to all the shock bolts. I can get to 1, but I cannot get it to budge....
@z0nedIn10 ай бұрын
So at the weekend I managed to replace the shocks in my W1918 by tipping it on its side and removing the bottom panel. Took a lot of torque to remove the bolts and it's a tight space but got there in the end.

This machine is a hunk of shit. Currently trying to refund mine after less than a week the leather has an air pocket bulging in one spot & is coming off at the join, the wheels not round or true & it doesn't come with a truing tool. It also has 2 huge plastic star headed guide rod fixing bolts that block you from passing your blade across the machine. A perfect example why it always costs me more when i try to go cheap. When will i learn!

I bought a Tormek and sold it a month later. These types of wet grinders are VERY, VERY SLOW. It's poor design. Knives can be sharpened much faster without overheating/damage to the blade.
@miscellaneous52684 жыл бұрын
And how exactly do you do that?
@mickestahl61787 жыл бұрын
I have looked at the Scheepach grinder and it feels very "China copy" of a Tormek. I use an old Tormek that are from about 1990 and it still works perfectly. A sturdy welded steel body and very stabil construction, no flex in the tool rest. Tormek are giving 7 years warranty on the bigger T8 even for professional use and for the smaller T4 witch are more in the same range as the Scheepach they give 7 years for home use. I would put my money on Tormek, the quality are so much higer and you have to see this as an investment for many years to come.

Vh. Carsten
