I had to pull the pedal in order for it to work momentarily. The solution is to replace the e break assembly.

I had a very similar incident where I was in the far right-hand Lane and a car came across two other lanes from the left and hit me and she told the insurance adjuster well, I had my blinker on.😅 She did get charged with the accident.

What I see in this video is you are running a test light between battery + and terminal B+, then controlling the output with the alternator B+ connector. The alternator at fault for having bad diode not rated for 5amp+ direct; could be another issue. Have you tested battery and starter? Perhaps fix the B+ terminal? What is with the title of this short? ;\

Yes, it was the alternator draining the battery. I also replaced the battery terminals and installed circuit breakers. The last owner bypassed the fusible link.

Sorry to hear that. Is your brake light swith working? You can check for power at the switch with a multimeter.

Nvm I'm a dumbass and didn't check the left hand brake... Knowing full well I have to replace that entire side for the blinkers hahaha.. it's to hot out my brain is fried.. but hey.. I have a brake light now

@@VWtech562 I will lol. Next is the cdi.. apparently after changing the disc brake handle assembly I got brake fluid on it and zero power to it.. led won't light up. Plusr running all the electric start stuff and praying all the new refreshed stuff will finally get my custom scooter back on the road lol. Might need a rear tube.. lol know where to order those from?

This one stopped working about one year after installation, but I messed with the pressures. Good thing I paid for the extended warranty... they send me another one; no questions asked. My suggestion is 1. Buy extended warranty 2. Don't mess with the pressures.

Don’t tell me I need to do that to mine, my ac compressor gave out last year and since I haven’t had good ac, I’ll work fine driving but when it idles it does not cool down, I was thinking of only replacing the expansion valve and the condenser since some metal got in those parts when the ac compressor went bad

@@joselito1186 if there is metal shavings you will see them when you remove the dryer bag in the condenser. If so I would recommend to flush the entire system, keep in mind you can't flush the rear without removing the rear expansion valve.

It's there to prevent the shifter from moving out of park by accident. At a dealer I used to work there was an old Mazda pickup truck that didn't have the shifter lock and one day the driver got out and the truck went on reverse on its own and crashed. Never remove the shifter lock.

You remove the FILL PLUG FIRST!!! If you drain the fluid then can't get the fill plug removed you're screwed.

Yes.. sorry to hear that. Read the first comments I made. The fuse that I installed was the same as the original which is the wrong size... it needs a bigger fuse, check the comments

I'm working on the 97 Gran Marquis and this method does not work on my old shocks. It is the same exact setup. In 98 Ford/Mercury monted the back shocks outside the frame behind the tire.

I tried spinning the shock also but i got about a half inch away from disconnecting shock but the center tube would not spin with the shock anymore. Now what ? i have to figure out how to keep tube spinning.

@@JackSquat54 maybe the nut and stud is rusted on top. Try spraying some wd40 and work it back and forth. Might need to use a pair or channellocks or a pipe wrench.

I've replaced my brake light switch twice in a month, and my mechanic switched out part of the steering column, and i still had this issue. It does seem like this newest brake light switch is intermittent, but your advice on how to fix this problem worked! I have 4, 2011 Town Cars, and this problem has occurred occasionally in at least two of them, and now i know what to do. And to think i paid my mechanic $200 and still had this problem 😢

I'm having this problem and my hose broke just above the valve in the engine bay so now I need to do what you did and take the glove box out and see if I can splice it back together
