Part 2 disappointed fans. Part 3 can redeem itself by giving us a prequel so we can use Joel right after Sara died. Or a grown up JJ trained by Tommy to avenge Joel which Ellie failed to do. I killed everyone in part 2 except for killing Abby....

tlou2 is my favorite game of all time, and I am really looking forward to what happens to the franchise in the future

As much as I love the idea of a redemption arc … and playing out like you described .. it somehow dimishes the impact of game 1 and especially 2 .. cause once you finished part 3 playing through part 1 & 2 again you already know where it all leads to .. a good end for all .. and it doesnt hit you emotionally anymore … So as much as I want a last of us part III … pulling out a good story … will be hard and must be thought through quite well over so the other 2 games wont lose creditability ..

That idea of switching out to four different characters would be fucking retarded. I truly hope to God they don’t put that game mechanic in the next game.

This is acually a great idea, if u sprinkle in a few good new characters like how Jesse, bill, Henry etc we’re so great and than add a devastating death like Tommy at the end than this would be a great story for the final game

i agree that pt3 will probably be about redemption but i really doubt if they will make ellie and abby working together... i mean pt2 deals with such complex emotions and i dont think it will end up like that..

Ellie would NEVER give her life for the cure. If she did it would be a complete disrespect to Joel´s memory and specially his death. Joel died because he kept Ellie alive, and even tho Ellie didn´t go all the way and killed Abby, she wouldn´t just give her life and make everything Joel sacrificed be for nothing most importantly his death (which Ellie feels guilt over)

Tbh The Whisperers in season 9 were well worth it for me binge watching the show again. After Rick's exit that was the only thing that kept me watching. After The Whisperers defeat I found myself bored beyond belief again.

Pacing was an issue for me. I think making the season longer would be amazing. Why do people think 6 episode series is enough? What happens to 20+ episode 8 season tv shows?

I think the world needs to see the beauty of the end. Stop the reboots and continuations. Let stories be. Of course we all want to return to these worlds, of course we miss it. It’s because we love them. As for the video, I personally loved the movies and the books. I go back and forth between the tv show. No, it’s not racism. Grover was made black in the movies and Annabeth is black in the show. I don’t care about that. That’s not the problem. I just don’t know what it is yet. I do enjoy some parts though. I feel like we all have our Percy deep down. The OG’s have book Percy, I have movie Percy, and the alpha’s have Disney Percy. It’s just the ones certain people grew up with. It’s not our fault and we’re not shaming other Percy’s.

I guess the prequel to the first part can be made as sort of a spinoff where the story of Tommy will be unfolded but in my opinion it will be terrible as Part 3 of the main series

The first one I can see as a great and replayable game. Joel just had more star power and he was what made me want to play the game. But as for the second game, it bit off more than it could chew. What I mean is The trailers (Obviously not trying to spoil the game which isn't a problem) Had Joel at the forefront of the marketing. But the game we got was a contrast to what we were promised. So you can see why some of us, not speaking for myself, felt Alienated about the second game. I always say it's never okay to alienate your target demographic. When you do that, it creates Mistrust with the company that was so revered with their games. Naughty Dog's New IP Intergalactic The Heratic Prophet is the reason for this. No one wants to play a smug, Unlikeable, Man wannabe woman. This has nothing to do with no one not liking females in games. The trailer got ratioed and Naughty Dog disabling the comments because they can't take criticism or aren't open to feedback. The fact that they did that shows that even they aren't confident in this project. If they were, they wouldn't disable the comments. Naughty Dog dug themselves into a hole and I can't blame the consumers for voting with their wallets. This is sending them a message saying that they need us more than we need them. Without our money, our support, and our community, they're nothing. So yeah. This backlash against naughty Dog, maybe not entirely warrented. But they sure made it harder for them to win fans over. So yeah it's mostly justified.

I don't really like this story. It sounds too neat. I would go about it more realistically. In all honesty, Ellie would not seek out the fireflies. For all she knows, they would kill her on sight for what happened at the hospital and for her massacre of the Salt Lake crew. She needs to stay the hell away from any fireflies, especially Abby. She would not talk to her ever again after what she did to Joel, much less team up with her. Sparing her life is one thing, forgiving her is out of the question. Furthermore, Ellie also has no reason to leave Jackson to protect anyone - there are already enough people to protect in Jackson: Dina, JJ, Tommy, and Maria to begin with. The assault on Jackson is a good idea though - I can get behind that.

Tommy and Joel deserve a DLC. I don’t think there’s enough for a full game, but like Left Behind, I think there is content there

What's weird is with these "flashbacks" enough time has passed where it's not merely "more or less" current day anymore. This show has draged on so long that Sunset protocol flashbacks and Flight 462 point to the TWD universe being...a world without smartphones!.It struck me that if there were smartphones and youtube was more prevalent then info about non-bite deaths and head shots being necassary would have spread quicker. Then we may not have had a military who couldn't handle the concept of using sandbags to protect their positions and other obstacles to contain shuffling masses of infected dead and go from there

Truth be told it was "losing its way" after season 1, season 2 Farm was just "twice as long for half the buget" filler wrapped up as "introspection". Now we have a situation with so many spinoffs they didn't need to be so cheap with the initial budget, plus they could have kept the main run tighter and shorter - and then delved into spinoffs

An interesting and, I think, totally workable final instalment for the game devs.

part 1 was a heart warming story of love developing between ellie and joel part 2 was a bitter story, that did not follow part 1, it killed the greatness of part 1 part 3 should go back to what put tha game on the map with players >loving story line. for me and lovers of part 1, to buy part3 they would have to bring joel back, and make a true sequel to part 1, rather than follow part2 which screwed loyal players with that bitter mess eg ellie travels back to the power station and guess who she meets there ??? spoiler joel

The broken versions of Tommy and Ellie being like Joel and Ellie when they first met was genius. Also the part with Ellie carrying JJ like Joel and Sarah. Also I feel like Abby def is gona tell Ellie about why she killed Joel. This whole thing was genius. Honestly shockingly good. Abby saving ellie, Tommy and Ellie at Joel’s grave with the ticking watch. Every part of it makes so much sense. ND needs you writing this script 😂
