Both the Bombardier Global 8000 and the Gulfstream G800 are beautiful aircraft. Actually, Gulfstream is always my favourite, but a Global 8000 is the fastest in its class and time is money

I remember seeing this design back in the 50's. I wonder why they didn't build these types of planes back then, I'm pretty sure they did but it was scrapped. I wonder why.

Only NASA achieved true laminar flow wings in one prototype jet aircraft. It required thousands of tiny holes be drilled into these wings and a advanced very expensive system to suck the still boundary layer air away from the wings to achieve true laminar flow. It was found not to be practical for civilian aviation. The aircraft does NOT have true laminar flow wings. The designers just reduced the drag a bit with cheap simple methods. Even the famous ww2 Mustang that is often claimed to have laminar flow wings has no such thing. These people are completely mistaken. It would require a system like NASA developed which is impractical and hugely expensive to operate.🙄

Maybe they should look into using the ultra-lightweight hydrogen tank from GTL/Hypoint. That could increase range significantly. Does it have a small parachute or a type of crash protection system (with rockets or something) to compete with the XTI trifan 600?

Everyone of the jets you listed has been involved in at least one crash. Yet, you fail mentioned the one jet that has NEVER been involved in a crash. The Cirrus Vision Jet. It is almost imposible for it to crash, with an auto land system easily operated by a non pilot passenger, and it has a parachute, it has a freaking parachute.

Honestly the lack of windows would probably be a non-issue for most passengers if they were to promise more space. for me the worst part of a flight is being cooped up in an uncomfy seat for several hours where I can't stretch my legs or readjust myself much at all
