This was my first concert ever and it absolutely blew my mind. I was going to summer camp in the area and sneaked out with another “bad” girl who loved weird music like me. 😂 I felt that music inside me and knew there was a whole world out there that was far more interesting than what I knew before.

I was always amazed at Stephen's set up at this time. His crash cymbals are so HIGH up there and hes not that tall of a dude. Great drummer

Perry and Casey would've been close to breaking up here if they weren't already. We all expected them to last forever, like the music..

Saw them on the, as the tour called it, DC stop that was actually in Reston, Va. Amazing show. They were in their prime.

Perry was like an androgynous sexy pit bull back then. I saw Janes in London in March 1991 and every woman and every man in that tiny room wanted to fuck him. Straight gay bi whatever. It didn't matter. Janes were a beautiful thing.

I'm in Vancouver BC, and a waitress at a restaurant I cooked at asked if I wanted to go see Lollapalooza '91 with her in Seattle, but I couldn't get anyone to switch shifts with me. To this day I am still kicking myself. Lolla didn't come to Vancouver that year, but I definitely went in '92, then again in '93. '92 changed my f'ng life! I was a metalhead, and that lineup was f'ng amazing! But I still wish I saw '91.

Lol, I love this band, and I loved them then - saw them during this Lollapalooza in fact, albeit in Illinois - but it still blows my mind how utterly sloppy they are, particularly in light of how huge they became. Man, though … that Perry energy could fly a rocket to the Moon!!

Definitely one of the strangest popular bands ever. No one possesses the talent Jane's Addiction does. They define "alternative" rock. They helped create it.
