@@kennethweaver7606 I sharpened a ripping chain, not a crosscut chain. You’re absolutely correct: a crosscut chain should be set at 30 degrees, while a ripping chain is typically around 10 degrees. What chainsaw do you got? Im a Husqvarna fan. Probably because im Swedish 😀 Have an amazing Sunday.

Ok...a video about the stove function...but not a single word about it's main selling point: the generating electricity part. I would have wanted to know how long it takes for example to generate enough electricity to fully charge a smart phone. THAT would have been the single interesting thing about a review of this product. Cause if i merely want a stove to cook water in above a fire, i'll just use a steel can, cut a hole into it, effectively turning it into a mini-chimney, burn twings in it and put another can on top of it for the water to boil in - best of it all: that way i only pay for whatever food was in the cans and get the stove and water vessel basically for free 😏
@offgridsweden5 ай бұрын
@mugenjin8158 Look at part 2. Its only about the generation of electricity. Have a great Tuesday.

I got one for Christmas. I like it as an option in my car for the case Im out of gas and for hikkng instead of a gas stove. I think the weight is about equal to a gas cartridge. And at home it could be usefull in case of black out or natural desasters. Cheers.

So, my question is wether even a blue flame from gas could be used to generate electricity with this? Would it be just a matter of applying to the rod? This obviously is more brilliant as a concept for not requiring such a method but at the same time, if someone simply lost electricity in their apartment not due to a natural disaster, but because they couldn’t afford the bill, maybe due to job loss, than they probably would not have a good enough excuse to burn wood in the apartment but could probably get away with a blue flame. I am curious….
@offgridsweden Жыл бұрын
Hi, That would work. It's a peltier element that is converting the heat into electricity. Just be careful, a blue flame from gas can be very hot and might in i some cases damage the element. Thanks for watching, and have an amazing Sunday.

I am in Maine, recently bought the F2+ When I went to buy the Schiller fuel injected saw they told me , and correctly, that science I have had shoulder surgery , I would not be able to pull start any saw over 50cc. I tried it. They were right. I asked if I could start the Stihl fuel injected using both hands..they said no. But it appears that the F2+. Is stable enough so that I could start the saw.. using both hands to pull the cord How can I get an electric saw and what is the cost? I have relatives in Sweden

I'm sorry, but the idea of a chainsaw mill is that you can easily take it to your tree, fell the tree, and make boards on the spot, no tractor needed to move the trees. If you're going to make something this size I'd really suggest a Swing Blade mill. You will save in effort, time, blade cost, and material loss due to blade thickness.

Thats a lot of panels. I think using an almost vertical orientation will get you better results in the winter and solve the snow problem. Since you have over capacity in summer losing 30% or more in summer wont be a big problem. The ideal angle for our house in winter is 82 degrees, so almost vertical. This is in Norway so the best solution was put them on the side of the house.
@147andreluiz2 жыл бұрын
I thought the panels would still produce energy without sun. So let's say if you have light, but no sun (a raining day for example) would still produce energy? Even if just 20% or something. Thank you for the video.
