What a beautiful looking car, but it was a huge mistake making it all electric, with all the limitations associated with just batteries alone. Now if it was a hybrid vehicle, with a powerful V6 engine and small capacity battery, for shorter journeys, around town, then i would have been a customer. It weighs close to two tons, so will have a limited range, and is up against far more desirable vehicles. Too expensive, too heavy, and will have crippling depreciation, so im not in the market for one.

Fascinating car, but if the software experience on the MG4 is anything to go by, really lower your expectations on that front and expect, if not quite the worst, then something quite disappointing. Marketing boxes checked but actual feature quality basic at best (that’s being kind in some aspects) and virtually no updates over time - and those updates need to be installed by a service centre

Great little car. Their only issue is the paint suffers badly from stone chipping. I hope Suzuki addresses this issue.
@daverundle9192 ай бұрын
It is a problem that affects a lot of cars since the move to water based paints! I had a lot of issues with the paint on a Honda. However I have not had that much problem with my two Suziki's and nor has my wife and she is on her 3rd!
@Nawitisnae2 ай бұрын
@daverundle919 Thanks for making me aware of the move to water based paints, I didn't know that. Good to hear you and your wife love Suzuki, I do too. I've just changed my standard Swift for the Swift Sport and had a protective vinyl wrap put on the bonnet, as this area is particularly prone to stone chips. My wife had a Jimny years ago, which was quirky and fun to drive and great when it snowed as it had the option of putting into 4 wheel drive. Like the Suzuki advert say, 'Suzuki, good different.

@@Nawitisnaeno probs! I had awful probs with my Honda Civic sport! I counted 32 stone chips after less than 3 months and was told it was my fault for buying a black car!😳 As for Suzuki yes we love them, you get so much car for not stupid money! The Swift Sport is a lovely car and that sounds like a good idea! Enjoy your car!

What color is this Sam? I drove tested the car in Germany, really impressed with the fuel consumption, 80 Km drive, combined 60 Km Highway + 20 Km Local roads, Highway speeds 140-150 Km/h, Regeneration Level 2 set at the dealership and never change it since, 5.6 L/100 Km. Better sound insulation than annoying CVT noise of Yaris at cruising speeds.

Too bad he's not offering an objective review. How about how the AWD version handles worse than the RWD version? How about its lengthy charging times?
@LuscombeSuzukiLeeds6 ай бұрын
@@paratracker Given I’ve only had my hands on the AWD (and haven’t driven it properly), I couldn’t possibly comment. And lengthy is all relative. 140+kw isn’t going win any awards, but it’s perfectly acceptable given the volume of chargers capable of charging at more than 150kw
@paratracker6 ай бұрын
@@LuscombeSuzukiLeedsRight now, I'm leaning next generation Zeekr 001 FR for its 800V architecture (which improves both charging times and torque on tap), 5-door 'hatchback' practically, generally better materials, performance, & value. Sorry.
