Cool video, great construction. Can you please send me more pictures or explain how your membrane is built? In the video you can see the needle, but underneath there is just a big lump of glue.

Instead of aluminum on hard glass, try something like "living Vinyl". That's the stuff people would put on drafting tables so the pencil could dig into the vellum paper. Wrap that around the jar.

i dont get it? you put "some oil" on tinfoil and the needle will move, rubbing into the tinfoil, and somehow magically store sound i give up trying to understand. noobs.

@@ukuleletyke not just the ideas of others. All the things Edison is credited as inventing were already in existence in some form. Including the phonograph. Look at "history of the phonograph" on Wikipedia. A French guy invented it 20 years before Edison. Edison was a business man, not an inventor.

It was a terrible thing to listen to by today's standards, but back in 1877 through the early 20th century people would stand in long lines just to be able to say they heard a "talking machine"! It was something they considered miraculous! It is impossible for us today to understand just how amazing it was to, for the first time in history, be able to record and play back sound.

Yeah, no. Sparks are hot enough to weld to glass. So, if you wanna fuck up your welding lenses, grind in your hood. If you'd rather not spend money, every time you grind, just get a cheap pair of tinted safety glasses. $12 vs $50. It's literally a no-brainer.

for example tinfoil. first i was using too thin aluminium one and it wasnt working. then i used thicker tinfoil. and reduced the presure of the nidle

Lacquer doesn’t need to be sanded between coats. Also you shook it up when that causes air bubbles.

have to be sanded, becaouse its impossible to get rid of all dust particles and they can fall on first coat.

One very important step is missing Put the pot back on the stove in medium temperature and you can see the result from two minutes removing slowly two or three more minutes 5 total You’ll see the cheese separating so easily from the liquid so it’s not so milky

С такими помощниками сложно было бы не построить багги 👍, однако конструкция не рациональна и вряд ли ее намного хватит 🙄 Колеса большего размера она не провернет?
