Etsy has a maker that 3d prints a case for the kenwood d75. It looks great and has a lot of 5 star reviews. It is made from a tpu filament, flexible rubber like material. I am definitely going to pick one up. Take care! don

If I didn't have to tromp through the snow for part of the year I would love to put a "shack-in-the-back". But I would pretty much put outlets on every other stud. At least in the bench area.

Are you thinking of running some thicker DC wiring in the walls for 12v distribution before spray foaming? Maybe an 8 or 6 ga. bus? 🙂

Nice work Don. My doublet that I use now is 110' total from the info I gave you from DXE. Try to keep the coax 10' or less and use lmr 400 or something in the same quality. L ove it that you keep chugging along with the new place!
@don_n5skt4 ай бұрын
I will get there with the length of the coax run but I have to find a place to lay it out and then determine how I far the ladder line needs to extend. I will likely add more ladder line when I find the length required. The ZS6BKW is not a doublet and so you can run coax to the shack. However, I was talking with some folks today who are going to help me get a shack built.
@skeeterk7trd1584 ай бұрын
I built a Doublet years ago I found on Ham Universe . Not sure what it was designed after. I deployed it at 40 ft on a Rohn telescoping pole, worked really good. If I ever get the room to put one up I'll probably do it again.
