It's pretty alarming to see the amount of comments on here that are defending and admiring Berlin while calling Ariadna a golddigger for being raped by a robber as a hostage. If you think Berlin is not a rapist, read this: She was not the first to talk about sex - Berlin was. He mentioned it right after she literally told him she was scared for her life and willing to help in exchange for survival by digging or cleaning around. When the hostages were given a fake choice between money and freedom, she said she wanted freedom. She didn't want any money. But Berlin made her believe she'd die if she chose freedom, so she stayed. By the time Berlin proposed to marry her and let her take his money, she was understandably pissed off and traumatized beyond repair. So she figured it was a nice idea to take his money and then torture him in the end. So what? Isn't that fair, considering that Berlin believes in punishment? She wasn't to blame for his actions.
