Have not been this excited since I found out about Minecraft, Terraria, Teardown and Vintage Story. Almost like all of them in one.

I like these are no longer called minecraft clones, instead they finally recognized my most players as voxel style games.

I play a lot of terraria and minecraft, and I seriously don't understand how these players in the comment handle going outside? it a lot more pixels there than in minecraft. They probably think they are in creative mode and very high up. Jokes aside, how is your brain trained to expect a cube to be in a fixed size set by world of minecraft? Like seriously learn to control your brain not the other way around

I have been scrolling a bit and didnt see anything yet but I bet someone else has commented this. This basically looks like the breaking physics of teardown with the building mechanisms of the chisel & bits minecraft mod (since you didn't really have 2,9k oak logs but rather 2,9k voxels that that oak log was made of). Absolutely amazing and I cant believe it seems to run this smooth with that world size.

voxel can be an artstyle, but specifically it refers three-dimensional pixels. Minecraft is not voxel-based. games like Valheim and Enshrouded are voxel-based.

Actually cube worlds issue from what i heard is they basically broke under pressure or some other irl issue then dev fizzled out then they went totally mia.

I wonder what happened to the production of this game. This video makes it look like a mostly-finished package, at least for an early access. I noticed this video was posted five months ago, so I thought for sure it'd be released on Steam, but sadly nothing yet.

I wonder if flint arrows can be lit on fire for fire damage or that it will be a feature in the future if it doesn't work that wya already. I haven't seen the rest of the videos yet to know, just theory crafting as I watch.

Voxel is not just a "art style", it means that the game engine represents the world via a fully editable 3d volumetric grid instead of a polygon based world which is typically not editable by the end users.

Now imagine this game fully developed and with mod support...gonna be revolutionary

This is great, it will surpass MC. The blocks have given us too much imagination and creativity, and you have successfully reduced them to a mini level. I can't imagine how great the finished product would be when the game could be sold. Currently, it seems that the attack methods and sense of impact are insufficient. Go beyond MC, at least don't give up developing and selling it to Microsoft like he did. The popular ray tracing technology has not been truly installed in the official version of the game yet. This is too crazy. Even though he has sold so many copies, he still stays in the past and doesn't want to improve, relying solely on players to write MOD mods to enrich him🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Hope to adapt to Chinese language
