Thank you for this one. I use this drill a lot. My players love it. Its competitive and fun. When you play match you often receive pass after a rush, just like in variation 1. You can also make this 2vs2 or 3vs3 and all players in team must touch the ball before you score goal. Just adjust size of the space

Defenders are only allowed to defend between the line of cones…..mainly to teach the attackers to take the defenders on at speed and then getting a shot off.

They are sprinting 10-15 sec full speed, so it is anaerobic lactic. Alactic is just the first 2-5 sec, after that your atp and cp depots are empty.
