As someone who beat this a few days ago using a strength build, roll towards him for every attack except his pull, rocks and in the second phase his afterimage attacks. Basically it always puts his shockwaves and light beams behind you so they don't hit you. This makes the second phase like the first except for his grab and few surprises I don't wanna spoil. @@zero.9831 Low effort troll. I've played all of their games, this is by far the most bullshit fight they've ever designed. All of his attacks are designed to rollcatch you. It's not "hard", it's boring dodging 14 times before you can attack once until it's over. Your precious FromSoftware is not immune to criticism.

Tips if you stuck on this boss. change your build to some of the op one, i havent check all the op build but the easiest to play is the heavy shield with bleed spear the one asmongold use. Its one of the easiest build ever you just shieldpoke till the enemy died to bleed(may be a pain if the enemy is immune to bleed) the heavy shield with shield talisman is enought to tank most bosses attack, i havent played the dlc yet but asmongold destroyed radahn with this build lol this is the build i used to play and can easily fight malenia
