If you change the clutch, replace the oil gasket seal inside at the same time,, It's getting harder to find parts now

My baby mothers kia optima is on its 2nd motor. Tranny is on its way out and her son mustve flown the car through a flight of stairs. A friends neighbor is selling his '95 tercel for 1500 while we try and work on the kia to get a fair trade in value. Hopefully its worth it

Appreciate it and to the point, this is something I just had to do and apparently oil leaks from the distributor and weakens that heater hose. I'm not a mechanic so it took me a while to diagnose when I got home and it was steaming all over the place. One thing that you missed, I thought I would point out, is there a bleeder valve towards the rear of the engine on the passenger side that you unscrew a little bit and it will bleed air out of the system. After I replace the hose it started overheating and it was hard for me to find that information I didn't realize so if you are overheating after you've replaced a hose find that bleeder valve and wait until it's just coolant coming out.

So my brakelights do light up. But only if the headlights are off. So weird. It happened after i installed a ricey deepdish steerinwheel and did a clockspring delete on my steering colomn.😅

Great video. Thanks so much. It's been 4 years... I'm pretty sure that 3rd light has to work, too. At least that was what a police officer told me when he pulled me over because the 3rd light on the cab of my truck wasn't working. Great vid! 👍

Yes, very helpful vid! PROTIP for Miata Community: After installation of parts and doing the BLEED job...if you have trouble with getting all air bubbles out of line after numerous repeated attempts -- try removing the Bleed Screw and applying a couple of layers of Teflon Plumbers Tape (don't cover bleed hole, though) on threads. After a lot of frustration, this finally eliminated air leaking back into the Slave cylinder (despite the Bleed Screw being fully tightened), facilitating a vacuum for the air bubble-free flow of brake fluid and completion of the Bleeding. Hope this helps others facing this predicament !!
