I finally met my hero from the 80's & early 90's...Martin "The Chairman" Aparijo! Labor Day 9/2/24 in Huntington Beach, CA. Such an honor, privilege and pleasure. He's still genuine and humble and still tearing it up on 2 wheels! Thanks for the years of inspiration Martin. Keep it RAD brother!!!

Back than … cars looked better, sneakers were better, bikes were better, girls looked better, hip hop was better. If time travel ever comes to be its 1988 for me.

I gave Ed that 12-string Takamine a couple of hours before this show. My thank you for Collective Soul music getting me through a cancer diagnosis without losing my sanity. Ed played it the rest of the tour. :)

I was looking through some VERY old folders in my pc when i found this video on MP4. Googled the title to see if there was any update on Axlepeg and i saw that his real name is Josh Marsele, i searched in youtube to see if there was anything posted under his name, only to find some old videos. I now came back to this video and looking through the comments i just learned he passed away, which results truly saddening because he inspired me to ride bmx when i was just 9 years old, man, i watched this video all the time and i would show it to everybody. On the bright side, im happy to see the legacy he created and left for the world, so many people connected through his riding and this single video. Ride in peace, Josh. You will not be forgotten.

haro82, I was close to Josh and I really want to make a short memorial video about our friendship, which began in 1987. I was wondering if you're still around and still making videos like this one you did for Josh. I don't know how to message you here.

Hey man, sure I would be happy to help out in any way you need for that. Man - he is missed. I think about him all the time. I have the bike he rode in the video we did. Let me know how I can help.
