This was as the Camarillo [CA] half pipe. This ramp was 24' wide, had about 20' of flat and 9' transitions. It was owned by Doug Randazzo

I remember this vid. Was called Freestyle USA or something. Josh White had one of the raddest vert styles.

It was a Camarillo-specific video called Camarillo Air I believe. All riders from Camarillo. I saw something about it at Josh Whites house when Marty took me over there one night. He was roommates with Dino DeLuca at the time.

The title of this video is wrong. This Ramp was the Camarillo Ramp. I don't remember Mike Dominguez ever riding the Camarillo Ramp. Mike was an awesome rider!! But this Ramp was not part of his shredding grounds.

Yes, Dino de Luca and other GT guys rode this.

@@BMXOPHY Yes Dino, Todd, Josh, Steve and few other guys rode the Camarillo ramp on a daily basis. But again my comment was about the title of the video. This is Not a Mike Dominguez halfpipe session. Mike never road the Camarillo ramp and this is the Camarillo ramp. The title should be changed this has nothing to do with Mike Dominguez.

@@feellucky2970 Yes, I agree with you about the title. I don’t specifically know for myself if Mike D. ever rode this ramp, but for sure I don’t see him here in this footage. Maybe he went on a shady mission with Blyther up to Camarillo.
@feellucky29703 жыл бұрын
@@BMXOPHY That is possible. If he did go on a covert trip to ride the ramp he did a good job with out anybody finding out. I was normally informed when and who was coming to ride the ramp. This Ramp was located on my grandparents property so not too many people were able to ride without someone knowing. But it could have happened.

He rode haro 81 to 86 ?
@supernoobsmith57185 жыл бұрын
Mike only rode for Haro for 1 year. The fact they made a sig reissue or something is total marketing BS. Skyway in 83, Haro in 84, Hutch in 85. Haro was not really Haro by 87, the company was the first to sell out to China. And as much as I loved those new bikes they were flawed in bad way and were obviously not responsive to what was happening in freestyle. The flaw was the built in framestanders on the chainstays. They got in the way of all the new tricks, and the only good pegs at the time were 3 1/2 inch steel GT pegs. Short enough as it is, but with Haro's framestanders made them near useless for many tricks. If they were serious about freestyle they would have deleted this feature.

Just for reference, Mike only rode graphite Tuffwheels, not the regular ones.
