38x sounds like original, 560 is to much bass, if use EQ - 38x better choice

I see so many people showing how it sounds instead of where or how to connect the headphones to the pc is there no one that can show that

what Q do i set high pass at? different numbers change it alot.

On some tracks I feel like the 990 sounds better but definitely HURTS on some others. It might be my go to for the type of musics I listen to, but I do undestand why people hate the 990 so much.

i have both hd560s sounds wider and more alive... but hd6xx sounds better to me.

owned both ...altough beyer does sound more lively, 560s is in another league of perfect transparency and neutrality. 990 still very good do if you want an unnatural more fun sound

Hey man is there any way I can apply equalizer APO settings to the headphones to use on ps5? I have a pc but am mainly a ps5 gamer (so can use pc to apply settings) currently using sound blaster command and I’m not sure I can get similar settings and results as from equalizer APO

I have both. Can't say which one is the winner. DT 990 Pro for sure got more ''fun'' sound, they get better the longer you use it, but sibilance is present and sometimes it sounds awful. HD 560s sounds more neutral, more harsh in most music but they dont have that sibilance. Bass is good in both headphones. They are both average comfortable, but HD 560s is just little better i think. DT 990 Pro has higher clamping force to me. Before i had HD 599 for 7 years and it was the king of comfort since the first day. So final word, which one is better? HD 560s or DT 990 Pro? Its up to you guys, you decide if you want more fun sound or more neutral sound. If you hate sibilance and you are music mixer, take HD 560s. If you dont mind sibilance and want fun sound, take DT 990 Pro. Cheers 😉

I don't think this is a reliable comparison, because only one characteristic is used in the comparison, and that is the frequency response. What kind of stereo picture is there, the detailing still remains unknown, so you have to listen to the headphones with your own ears

Listening thru PX7 S2e and the 560s's sound better both bass and treble. Can't stand hiphop tho.

Listening with the Bowers&Wilkins PX7 S2e. The 560's sound clearer and with that extra bass low.

The Beyerdynamics sound way better they have a good bright tone to them for mixing/mastering. The sennheisers are more for just critical listening.

I'd prefer to listen pink noise instead these songs. In any case, the difference is clear, but there remains a feeling that the microphone used to record the headphones was not calibrated. My 560S doesn't boost sibilance that much. Thanks for job!

HD650 is more centred sound but pleasent to hear, HD560S is more extend with better sound stage, deep bass but not so good for music like the HD6X0, beside that I love my HD560S because I love technicalities like sound stage and imaging and 560s makes it better.

The Beyerdynamic seems to elevate the treble a little too much.

The difference between these two would suggest that this setup is uncalibrated so only reflective of a "straight out of the box" experience. In reality, after calibration, they're much closer but with the HD650s being a bit livelier, which you'd expect. I've got both and when correctly calibrated the HD650s are noticeably the better of the two, but the 560s's are no slouch and make great everyday headphones and are superb bang for the buck.

Thanks for doing this! When you own a pair of Sennheisers, you don’t notice the “veil”, bc they sound pretty darn good (imo)-but holy moly that veil is so obvious here. Interesting!

560s are more closer to original, a bit dryier and clinical sound., 650 are more colored , bit a different tuning.

holy heck the dt990 pro is spicy sounding, the shp9500 is on the borderline for me when it comes to sibilance but the 990 pros takes it to a higher level lol, I wanted to buy 'em but the sibilance is not for me.

those headphones are terrible for footsteps, i have them myself and i could hear the footsteps in the 560s video alot better where as the hyper just sound like theyre everywhere at the same time
