I didn't get very good results from my attempt with P33, then I heard you mention it didn't have a DX code and checked my canister to see that it did. Now I'm wondering what went wrong with my first roll. I'll have to pick up another and try again.

5:50 let's be fair with Ilford Delta3200 here. It's not written anywhere on the box that it's a 3200 ISO film. It's written EI3200, and if you read the datasheet (which everybody should do for every film they shoot) it's a 1000 ISO film, that is designed to be pushed "with good results" at EI3200. On the other hand Fuji Pro400H is advertised as a 400 ISO speed.
@adammissedfocus21 күн бұрын
You're right. It's the fastest film stock we currently have in the market (even faster than Tmax P3200) and when you read the datasheet it does say it's a true 1000 iso film and the whole 3200 iso thing is that it's designed to be pushed and give us good results. Where Pro400H as you said is advertised as a 400 ISO film.
@extraordinareg23 күн бұрын
how to transfer the shots in digital?
@35mmlad19 күн бұрын
You Finish the film, you develop it or get it developed at a lab and they scan it and send you the digitals :)
@adammissedfocus18 күн бұрын
In the beginning it’s best to go to your local film lab and bring in your finished roll of film and ask for development and scans. They will develop your film and send you digital scans.

Nice vid, I still like pro 400h but don't have too many rolls left, For portraits it's my 2nd fav stock after aerocolor which I get from either reflxlab or alien lab which are both pretty affordable!

Hey Adam, Thanks for your upload. Just to your point regarding overexposing PRO400H by one stop. Based on the angle of shadows, it appears you took your images in the middle of the day. Do the same during golden hour and you will see the saturation.
@adammissedfocus23 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching! It’s true, the photos were taken during harsh mid-day lighting. I rarely shoot during golden hour, but I definitely gotta motivate myself to shoot during golden hour and give it a try.

Thanks for the review. Just ordered mine and wanted to dig out the opinions on it over the internet. Found it accidentally when checking the info on Olympus Pen half frames). I have already shoot half frame Agat-18К (Агат-18К), a very simple camera but very small and cheap. As I remember I was impressed by the results. The Samurai should impress me even more)

A lots of "Whatever that means" in here... 🤣 Anyway, "slow synchro flash mode" means the camera will make exposure as intended without flash (at night that means loooong exposure, even with high speed film), but it will fire flash regardless, so if you shoot portrait or a group of people both the background and you subject will (should) be properly exposed. On the plus side, your subject will appear frozen and sharp (unlike the background, especially if you have shaky hands). Otherwise in normal mode exposure time will be capped at 1/30sec. or so, and your background (if not right behind your subject) will be pitch black...

Primary/secondary camera setup is a really good idea. It really opens up a lot freedom to mix and match: wide angle lens on one, more tele on the other. BnW on one, and color on the other. Cheaper film stock on one (135), and a more expensive one on the other (120). Otherwise it's too easy to get into situation when you want to take a shot but you don't have quite the right camera for the particular situation.
@adammissedfocusАй бұрын
That’s true. Gives you much more freedom and BW in one and color in the order makes you ready for any weather changes.
@michabutkiewicz702Ай бұрын
Couldn't agree more! I'm Michael from the video and on both photowalks here you can see me rocking camera harness with Yashica-Mat on one side and Canon A-1 w 85mm on the other. To be fair I rarely go to a photowalk with just one camera, feel like I need them options
@kmoecubАй бұрын
It is highly likely that all the zoom buttons need is to have the corrosion cleaned off of them. It's a very common problem with any camera that has electric controls. I'd really like to see a comparison between this and an Olympus Pen EES-2, and a Univex Mercury 2.
@adammissedfocusАй бұрын
Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully that will fix the zoom button. If I ever get my hands on those cameras I just might do a video.

Video @ 11:09 "sharper than my T4 ?" - The better lens to compare to the Summarit Leica lens, would be the one on the FAR BETTER than the T4 (f/3.5 Tessar), would be the T3. It has a non-motorized ASPH f/2.8 - In other words, the best bargain of the three mentioned will be the Yashica T3(Best lens is no doubt the Leica Summarit $$$).
