I have mystery train on original 78 from Britain on HMV and the weird thing is my 78 on HMV fades out has more of the song on it then the 78 you just playedon sun your copy that just played cut off abruptly at the end but my HMV British release 78 has the full fade Out a second or more so on the track ending

My father was in the retail hifi business back in its infancy, and had one of those phonograph arms laying around for many years. I never saw an lp cut for it though. Still have a couple of his old Cook Labs mono LPs from the era, though. Both are the same pressing - freight trains recorded on a rainy night.

studio.kzbin.info_OGgGu3ogtQ/edit Click the hyperlink to the left for a brand new uploaded video of the Livingston Binaural tonearm. Sorry it was recorded using my telephone. Tip: Best heard with earphones, but it is true stereo (circa 1954). I am harristeeter1 but can't seem to upload anymore content here. Check Bob's Record and TV Historian for any future uploads. Thank you, enjoy, and I appreciate all the views and subscriptions!

If you have an unused black and white analog industrial camera and an unused small vacuum screen at home, you can make a similar color television (CBS) very cheaply. The RBG wheel must rotate in front of the lens. The same disk must rotate synchronously in front of the receiver screen. The Col-r-tel did not have a color wheel on the camera, but the principle of color sequencing is the same.

What a goofy solution. Even Blumlein at EMI in the early thirties put both channels to a single groove. It wasn't rocket science.

Certainly signs of Esquerita. Little Richard is/was quoting him as his inspiration in the early days !
