This made stop playing games for a long time as a child

I had a harder time with this crap than fighting the damn Valkyrie Queen in God of War 2018. I do not recommend playing this level on PS2.

Remeber to turn off the sound on the game or KZbin or your gonna get double wah wah wah

23 years later, and it still hits me. This is the type of horror even horror movies can't replicate. Bravo Sam Lake for having the guts to green light this. Also, for better or worse, this single handedly helped us grow mentally. even if we don't realize it. Think about it, kids these days could never deal with this level of trauma.

I played it on PC, iPhone and now PS2 and the PS2 is th worste in terms of graphics and game experience especially in level like this maze. But in overall it's still awesome

Use to play this as a child. Havent gotten this far until now. Im 27 years old and i just bought all 3 games. The story is great so far and i love this series.

The most chilling part was the baby screaming like a dinosaur when u fall specially the first time and in the dark it suprised me

I love this game in general and especially story wise. This part has a great visual and storytelling aspect, but the controls simply gave me an aneurysm from frustration

It stops being scary after 5 seconds, then becomes very annoying. Bad level.

This Part Used To Be Horrific, Untill I Fell Off 20 Million Times, And The Same 2 Baby Sound Effects Echoed In The Back Round.

I’m playing this game for the first time at 22 and this is more rage inducing than creepy or sad. One of the worst designed parts of a game I’ve ever seen

unsettling at first but eventually it gets so annoying to not be able to see anything!

This happened like 13 years ago when we were pre-teens I remember when I was at my best friend's home when he was playing on this part and I got very distraught at the baby crying and the dark, blood trail I stared crying too, begging him to "please turn the game off" while he was laughing nervously saying "Dude calm down it's just a game, it's ok" and when I started to cry too he got a little frustrated and reluctantly turn the Ps2 to put another game I'm sorry Ale XD We had literally the same age but I've been a really scaredy cat since early childhood lol

this is literally the worst level ive ever had to experience in a game, im paying this for the first time and i literally had to mute my steam deck because jesus christ those screams , the slow motion, why is it soo damn dark , why was this ever given the okay !!!!!!

Only thing that made this "scary" were the controls

One of the most if not frustrating levels I’ve ever played… and man that damn baby anytime you would fall off trying to beat the game at night while my partners were asleep even when the volume was low it still felt like it was so loud smh good times 😂

These dream sequences are the most annoying crap I ever had to do in a videogame. I can't believe people find it scary 😂
