I think the B Team guys don’t really get Craig. They don’t travel much, they don’t make money like him, and they train way harder.

Rhabdo can kill you but that's extreme muscle fatigue. Lots of crossfitters started dieing from it for a bit. Maybe that's just true strenuous muscle stuff which if you are doing good technique should take a while.

If you are teaching American Jiu Jitsu, do you drop all the Japanese words and only use the English name for them? I think AJJ is so chill that you can use English and Japanese names haha

Love the podcast, and great to see Keenan back! Also, Josh got really big! lol. I always really appreciate your insights in BJJ and the business of it. But on the medical bills discussion: -Medical bills are the leading cause of bankruptcy in the US, making up around 60% of them. -And California pretends to care about homeless people, but in reality they are pretty crappy, especially the richer areas that want to pretend they don't exist. For example, CA has about 180K Homeless people. Just San Francisco (~61K) and Los Angeles (~93K) alone have ~160K empty homes. If the state cared about solving homelessness it easily could.

For the record every Brazilian I've ever talked to outside of the "BJJ community" Thinks it's really cringe that people who aren't Brazilian are opening up gyms and calling it Brazilian jujitsu, in fact going far enough that they don't like the name of their country being used in some Americans marketing

true. the term "Brazilian Jiujitsu" only came about because Rorion sued people to prevent them from using Gracie Jiujitsu. Before then in Brazil it was just called Jiujitsu. They had no need to call it Brazilian Jiujitsu. So Rorion is the reason the term "Brazilian Jiujitsu" was invented. It would have been called Gracie Jiujitsu if Rorion didnt sue people.

In wrestling we have some of these tactics one of them is to put your bodyweight on an opponent and make him carry your weight. Getting him to tier himself early. Another is if you're opponent is stronger not to tie up with him but to do all your shots from open space with no tie ups but just by faking attacks and if you get caught on bad shot immediately releasing, getting up,get space and shooting again.
