Does anyone know if there is a way to map editor controls to midi? For example, I'm using the AKAI APC Mini. I would like to use the faders to control my light fixtures brightness, colors, etc, while in editor....or even live. I've searched all over and can't find this answer.

I realize it's been awhile since you dealt with myDMX 3.0 but if the software is installed on a PC, what would be the procedure to transfer it and the settings and license(s) to another PC with minimal to no loss of settings and files? Cheers!

Great demo, though started to get information overload just after halfway through, but I guess one can pause and rewind. Do you need a Chauvet USB>DMX to run fixtures, or will most off-the-shelf USB>DMX interfaces work?

It's extremely important that you do not activate any other channels you plan on having live buttons for when creating the scenes. If you do, the active button in the scene setting will cancel out your live button. Even if the fader is green (lit) and not moved up, this will cancel any live movement.

I use EKX 15p tops also, lovely speakers. They are way more "big & louder" sounding, compare to ZLX 15p which I have also. EKX input signal limit is from another galaxy. Output power as well, it is possible to push they realy hard, so be prepared on it. (If directly compared, ZLX looks like good and clarity sounding sidefills or midsize stage monitors, while EKX are still portable midsize venue PA main speakers.) As for subs... depends on your needs and expectations, on kind of music you play through them. If you consider your subs are ok till now, with EKX tops overal sound performance will be even better. But... big gigs with couple hundreds of people are calling for something else - in subs. With 2 pcs of EKX 15p I can imagine something like a 4 pcs EKX subs or dreamly 2 pcs of powerful (and realy expensive) ETX subs, to balance power of EKX tops. However, cooperation between EKX 15p and ELX200 subs will be smooth and seamles, using DSP built in crossover and it's dedicated factory setting.

Thanks for your video. Very informative. I have an issue that I hope you can help me with: I use the LIVE icon to control my scenes. It works fine for a few weeks, then clicking on the scenes don't do anything and I can select multiple scenes. I have to go back using the EDIT button to use my scenes but of course, I don't get fading, etc. I can't find anything that has changed. I'm not sure where to turn. Thanks for any help you can give.

Great review... I prefer DHL 10-A because of it's 2inch horn which makes the top end sound crisp and cleaner. 6-A are better for transporting and setting up if you're on your own. RCF HDL Line-array is great.

This is awesome! I am on a super tight budget as a solo musician, and I have been looking at all of my options for lighting, and have decided to go the DIY LED tube light route. My plan is to have 8 of these 1 meter DIY LED tubes hooked up to a DMX decoder, then I'm planning on getting 4 Par 64s with a 4 channel dmx dimmer, that will be used as back and side lighting. My issue is not having a lighting Tech, and I don't really want to put some party lights on a "Sound" setting or a "Pre-Programmed" chase setting, as I've seen so many other solo acts or groups use. So my plan is to use Ableton Live to send command triggers to myDMX 3.0 and have pre-programmed sequences in the software. So having the 3D Visualizer would allow me to easily program each song with unique looks.
