Great review... I prefer DHL 10-A because of it's 2inch horn which makes the top end sound crisp and cleaner. 6-A are better for transporting and setting up if you're on your own. RCF HDL Line-array is great.

If you ever do anything where you need delay lines, those are not going to cut it. We never use a delay line in anything less than 200 feet away outdoors or arena, and then the delay line is usually the same size as the main system, albeit scaled down. If you are producing a venue of that size, your main system will be able to throw that far. That said, in a larger application, those will be awesome for under and over balconies, on second floor dance rooms, adjoining rooms, terraces etc. Very cool little speaker. i would probably not go as far as running a 16 deep banana of these. If you find that you need more than four per side, think bigger instead. Running say four MLA Mini's or 6 DAS Event 210A's per side as opposed to twelve of these, will sound better and ultimately leave more room underneath in your truss. Sometimes scaling a very small system up big is not as good as scaling a bigger system small.

@@BrandonHavrilla I only own one so its was used for cocktail hour for weddings which I don't do very many anymore. I'm more of a small production company. I really like RCF but I don't own any line arrays speakers yet and COVID-19 has set me back now and if I purchase any line array speaker I will most likely have some scrutiny from other production company's. $1500/Ea is about the cheapest I've seen yet.

Hi Brandon, great review video. It looks like you're here on Long Island too based on the logo on that Showmobile? Anyway, how many of these units can you run on 1 15, or 20 amp circuit? I read somewhere that each of these units could take up to 6 amps!? -- have you ever needed multiple circuits to run 3 units in an array with a sub?
@cblade0072 жыл бұрын
You can probably get away with 3 on a 20 amp circuit at mid output but a 30 amp circuit or another circuit would be best.

Running this without a speaker management system for proper time alignment, is not a good idea. Does not have to be super expensive, but getting everything in time make a big deal.

How many speakers are you talking about? Indoor or outside? If you buy 32 of them and fly 16 per side which I think is their max weight rating per stack you should be able to handle a couple thousand people easily. You need to give us more info to help you answer your question.

Not a fan of the RCF. These boxes sound like a loud boom box. Lacks warmth. If your using for DJ applications they work great. However, for serious sound reinforcement this disappoints. Just my opinion. Some will say they are great, thats their opinion. As mentioned in the description they are loud. If you use your ears as a tool long exposure to this box will hurt you.

Can anyone answer my question ? Thanks
