$70 = 1762880₫ In Vietnam, you can buy real Fixed Gear Bike with 10000₫ If you want to buy 1760 bikes, you need 17600000₫ After that, you remain 2880₫ ~ 0.1 cent So you can buy 1760 bikes and remain 0.1 cent😊

Did you know that this kind of bike is called a "python lowracer", and the first creator has a project page where he has instructions (including the angle for the middle joint) that makes the bike more stable (I don't know how youtube like links but it is googlable). I think your first lower variant would also have been more stable if you had another angle for the steering. I have made one for some years ago that is somewhat possible to ride, but it has taken some months of concentrated training to not fall over all the time. Anyways, your video is awesome as usual, and I also find the python the most recumbent of all recumbent bikes, så that choice was right too :P

Awesome research, Matthias! I did not know that name for this type of bike. I tried to do some research and the only thing I found that was close-ish was called a "Flevo-bike". I definitely would have benefited from any documentation on this one. I am impressed to hear you build one, but even more impressed that you were able to ride it! I am wondering how much harder or easier it gets when that angle is steeper. I sort of thought that if the angle was more aggressive (so more perpendicular to the ground), the rake of the wheel would be so long that it might even be harder... Well, thanks for this comment and thans for watching man!
@mattiaslaserskold1373 ай бұрын
@@Raphson Yes it has taken several months for me to learn to ride it somewhat, it's really impressive that you managed to build it and learn to ride over a single day :P Also: Me and a friend built it over a year, with more time for planning. I think that say something about how fast you managed to create a working prototype. There is some sweet spot where the weight of the driver and the front part (including the legs) takes out each other, but when looking att it again it looks like your angle is kind of right anyways, so I think that your experimentation got you the right way. I also wonder if you could get extra stability with handle bars (like you experimented with) when the angle closer to a stable one, but I don't have handle bars on mine and the creator of the model does not seem to use handle bars either (I guess that its street cred to be able to ride without using your hands). I have seen some youtubevideos of people riding python bikes that is crazy stable, but most people just crash a couple of times and never uploads a video of their bike again :P Here is the page I was talking about previously if the link works. www.python-lowracer.de/geometry.html I understand that you do not want to redo the same idea more than once for a video, I personally that have just built a single bike in my entire life just had to comment when it was the same model, really liked the video anyways :P

You should race all constructed bikes and other things with wheels around this circuit , to see which one is the fastest. Just like top gear

They usually use old builds as part of the new... so not many bikes to test. Also traffic will have a big impact on the speed of any lap.

Inspired by this video, I have finally learned this trick (find it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/in6UmKN3rc2Xn7c). I do it with a mountain bike and slightly differently though: instead of clamping the top tube I put the non-dominant foot against the seat. Thanks a lot for showing how it is done!!! Bests from Austria

Nice to see some creativity . I ride a recumbent as i enjoy comfort and speed with no pains at the end of any ride . It would be interesting to see what you can do away from the diamond frame basis to what most bikes are based on.
