Don't buy this. The hinge slides no matter how tight you screw it in. The pads on the hinge do not offer enough friction when in contact with the toilet.

That is not the way my American Standard drain looks like. It's all plastic and it does not have a nut that fastens directly to the sink. The threading does not go up high enough. Directions to not explain/show how. Going to need to retrofit something or just take it back.

I bought one for a small bathroom space because it was 2 inches less than Champion toilet in depth that I needed for door clearance the only issue I have is the tank is wobbly but not leaking my champion toilet tanks do not move I need to find a way to stabilize this problem

You can tell an engineer wrote the directions because of how difficult they made the instructions. They do not think like regular people. I could not figure them out. Watched the video and had it done in 5 minutes. Just a suggestion to American Standard, skip directions and have customers watch video.

We have 4 of these toilets in the house we just bought. 2 work well, and the other 2 have a super weak flush no matter how many times we ‘prime’. Water level in tank is fine. No clogs. Very annoyed.

To whom it may concern: The American standard Selectronic family of flushometer valves are adjustable in flush length via the remote control, which can be purchased online. All valves can be reprogrammed to increase or decrease flush water volume with the remote. Unfortunately, for those of us who want to provide our customers with a 3.5 gallon per flush cycle (10secs) we have to fall back on the usage of the remote as they come set from factory to max out at 1.6 gallons per flush. One of the things that both American Standard nor any other website or KZbin channel fails to tell you is that, when using the 605XRCT remote to diagnose or reprogram any faucet, urinal, and or toilet I noticed it’s best if you place remote IR emitter touching the sensor on the valve you’re working on. And always diagnose first to obtain the info on the valve then set the correct Year Model parameters without wasting your time. 😎👍

This system just won't get it tight enough. Replaced with 3/8 metal bolts, nuts, washers only keeping plastic cone washer. Now tight.

I`ve been purchasing American Standard Champion toilets for over 30 yrs, in my opinion they`re one of the best toilets on the market until recently... Now the toilets were redesigned to have less clearance on the bottom of the toilet and Every toilet has to be shimmed! What is the purpose of this and are the original American Standard Champion toilets still available to purchase?
