One of the greats. And we got to witness his talent full force.

Most of the cut and extended scenes I've seen from Dumb and Dumber are very good examples of film making telling vs. showing. The extra scenes add nothing really essential to the plot that isn't already there and putting them back in would be superfluous. Still, interesting to watch.

So Ace literally sexually assaults this person in public to prove their guilt? The character of Einhorn being born a man doesn’t make it right. It would have been absolutely hilarious if Einhorn turned out to be a biological woman, resulting in Ace being humiliated then chastised for his vile actions. Even the so called politically incorrect Carry On films were played out that way on occasions.

Amazing, how the film score, the other actors, and the editing have had to accommodate this improvisation by Jim Carrey. If you notice, they even had to record a shot of the teenage actors saying "Our parents just died" to blend in with the improvisation.
