did you notice that you don;t actually see his head landing, only the sound? chances are the stunt double had a pillow or a soft mat there to protect his head, then he rolled with the punch.

If you actually look at the car window you can see a blank spot. There was a mat he landed on. Because his head gets a little distorted by the blind spot. And that's where it is.
