Not sure this is the Jerry Reed way of chicken pickin but it's easier the the EricBlackmon authentic lesson here on YT and much easier if you want to be able to sing and play. If the desired result is just get this tune down so you can belt it out... this works for me and I thankyou! (We are doing a somewhat serious parody of this song based on the Pennsylvania vs (PA Amish) Amos Miller case where the PDA is trying to establish federal restrictions on growing our own food. We will be using this tune with a few others as an ad to create interest in the PAQuail Cooperative - coturnix quail are "the new chicken" everybody can grow, indoors or out, and feed your family. Living storable food! If we all grow enough for 1-2 neighbors we can survive this attack on our food supply... and humanity!

I don't normally use a thumb pick and haven't for 50 years. Do I need a thumb pick or can I just use my thumb edge? Trying to decide if I need to learn a new skill.
