Hi, I'm stuck on Course 2 and need your help. Should we use the project prompt as it is, or tailor it to a specific business? For example, if the prompt is: "Design an app and a responsive website for a local grocery store that helps shoppers locate products as they shop in person." Do I keep it general, or can I specify it like: "Design an app and a responsive website for a 'Seven Eleven' store that helps shoppers locate products as they shop in person." Please advise. Thanks!

I finished the UX designer course and also got a client from freelancing but everyone keeps saying as a beginner you shouldn’t do that because you “have no experience “ it overwhelms me

I totally disagree! To gain experience you need experience. When i started i had very much of a “i will figure it out” mindset with projects and I did! Keep getting clients and dont stress it!

Great advice! I started the course like 2 years ago but never finished course 6 & 7 because life got in the way. I plan on finishing it up this year! Im just gonna rush through it because by course 6 & 7 it gets repetitive and I dont have time to schedule interviews so just gonna fudge it! I want to focus more on UI design anyways, which this course doesnt focus much on

Im glad my advice was helpful! Project 1 in course 1-5 is basically the same tin course 6 & 7 as long as you got the theory! :)

The marketing and e-commerce is one course and if you mean the google UX course i would recommend the UX course first out the 2 ☺️☺️

i can’t WAIT to take this course! i’m on my 5th course in the UX series and i wanna be done rn tbh 😅 they sent out some major update and now there’s no peer graded stuff , and the last few courses changed! i was expecting to be DONE AFTER THIS ONE! but they made new courses on how to land a job and stuff… haven’t looked deep into it yet but i guess i’ll finish those 😅 i’ve ran a few small businesses and just REALLY wanna do this course so badly

The Google marketing course is a good one without peer grading but id say the whole course is more beneficial for someone who wants to go into that route career wise if you don’t want that id recommend doing the 1st course in marketing then skipping to what you want to learn the most! Hi! I noticed a mistake on your information architecture for your flower app case study, it includes "recipes and "favourite meals" I think you were meant to use this for your Kids Chef app case study and not for In the bloom?

Yes its just a course and not a guaranteed job! But i think if you work hard on the course and put a 110% into your portfolio you have a chance at securing yourself a job! However, it is not an easy do the course get a job sort of situation it is alot of hard work!
