I listened to Linkin Park a bunch when I was a teenager. Not only did I like them a bunch, but the reason I was listening to their songs a bunch was because I was absolutely miserable and depressed, and I'd relate to some the lyrics in the songs. I even grew up in a toxic and dysfunctional family and I was abused by my alcoholic stepfather (who is thankfully out of my life now because he's garbage). I am 26 as of now. I moved out of my family's house when I was 23. Mind you, I'm no longer depressed nor miserable. Years later, I have grown very appreciative of Linkin Park! You did great, Chester. You did great.

my brother banged himself on july 21st 2014, i every few years i held a small get together in his memory and as i was prepping for another memorial i was gonna play linkin park cuz it was his favorite band, i found out Chester banged himself the day before. i didn't listen to LP for few years and didn't really tell anyone who came it was in my brothers memory. this song always reminds me how lonely and isolated my brother felt.
