I just got a nobo 19.4 they told me I can’t use a wdh because of the independent suspension. Have you heard that?
@troystud3 күн бұрын
@@dudesickbro5880 who's they I assume the dealer?. I've got almost 4,000 miles on my trailer with independent sus and using weight distribution and it's work perfectly fine. I know it's new but I don't understand why it would be an issue. Unless they're just referring to taking it off-road. I do remove my weight distribution when I'm going on some dirt roads/ forest off-road trails. But that's normal for any type of trailer and weight distribution setup. Although having said that I'm not familiar with the 19.4 if it's a single axle trailer from my personal experience you should never use weight distribution.

It was no longer under warranty so we had to do an insurance claim which they covered it all. After doing some more research on single axle trailers I'm not 100% sure but it could have been also because we weren't using a weight distribution setup which was causing more Bounce in the trailer but who knows really.

Hello, this RV is on radar, but I am on the fence because of your videos. I think every RV have their issue. We owned Grand Design 22MLE, which was nice, but my wife thought 26' was too long for the mountains trips we go on. On one video you mention the clearance, can you expand on that.
@troystud Жыл бұрын
It was too low to the ground, scrapping the jacks going in/out most gas stations. Was not good for off-roading/boondocking like they marketed it for. But regardless I would not ever recommend a single axle trailer with the refrigerator in the rear. Its too much weight on the end of the trailer . The refrigerator should be over the axle. I believe the 2023 has a better suspension set up so it sits higher off the ground
@zygmuntziokowski7877 Жыл бұрын
@@troystud Thanks! I appreciate your honesty. Me and my wife are looking for a RV that is 22' or less, and the 19QBS comes in at 23'. We had a 26' RV and my wife thought it was too large and was not comfort towing it in the mountains in NC, and WV. The US highways in NC and WV are 2 lanes and sometime there are 8%, 9%, 10% and even 11% degrades, so she does not feel comfortable, and that was the reason for asking.

The on off cycle could be an excess flow valve in either the hose connection or the tank valve itself. When you hook up your tanks, and pressurize the system, just Crack the valve to pressurize the system slowly , after its pressurized , turn the valve on the way to on and hand tighten in on position. The valve seals 2 ways, both on top and bottom.

Did you grow since episode #1? You were 6-2 before and now you're 6-3, LOL. I like the layout of the QBS and the empty weight is an engineering marvel. The Forest River promotional video says the walls are framed in aluminum but they don't say anything about the roof. Do you know? Also, with the single axle those must be some very strong tires. Can you tell me the size, rating and psi? Thanks. I'll check out part 3&4 too. A person definately needs to be a resourceful handyman to own an RV, new or old.
@troystud Жыл бұрын
High heels? Honestly I did a lot of research on small trailers and it is the best layout for couples. I thought the roof was aluminum, that's why you can walk on . I could be wrong. Tires are 235/7R15 Psi 65
@MPBrewster Жыл бұрын
@@troystud Chances are the roof is a rubberirzed fabric as most rv's are. What I was talking about was the framing. Some trailers use a wood truss on top of those aluminum framed walls. I couldn't find much info anywhere on the web about more detailed specs. I'm always concerned about trapped moisture rotting the wood. Thanks for the tire info. That 235/75 R15 can be a passenger tire size but the 8 ply trailer version has a load range D which is 2900 lbs or so. I like the 65 psi as I have seen some trailer tires asking for 80 psi. Just makes it more difficult to monitor and service. My previous trailer (also 19 ft) had dual axles and I like the single.

@@troystud Thanks for that. Nice video, impressive factory. After reviewing your part #1, I was convinced you had aluminum up there; so smooth and shiny. But that pvc is tough as nails and seems to be the choice for the industry as well as commercial roofing.
