Again thanks for the video! As I mention previously we are interested in an IBEX or a NOBO with this queen configuration. Having your honest feedback and review is very helpful. The only RV I've had is a Pleasureway camper van and barely have needed to touch a tool. It's good to know the reality of owning a trailer.

I have not any problems with ground clearance, however the quality of workmanship has been disappointing. Sloppy roof cauling, fridge quite working after 3weeks and now stress cracks in front fiberglass. Lastly a inside wall panel is bowed. It is at the dealer to fix these things. Love the design and it pulls easy it is the Ibex 19qbs model.

Good vid, notice you have heated tanks. Not sure if you have had used them? Our Forest River Surveyor 19bhle had them. And were caught in Ohio with 12 degree temps and the heated tanks were winners 🏁

Great reviews! We're in the process of purchasing a '22 19QBS, having it brought in to Sacramento from a dealership in Texas because of the massive price difference. Wondering how you went about the lift kit? Definitely interested in doing something similar, but tough to find resources online. I see that you're also in Northern California, wonder if you could share the name of the shop that you had it done at? Appreciate any help!

We live in Sacramento too. We used Sylvan Trailer Supply on Auburn Blvd in Citrus Heights. It was a 4" lift. I think it was around $600.00 . I'm happy with the work. It definitely made a difference. Our trailer was bottoming out on driveways and it made it hard to drain the tanks since it was so low.

Great video thanks. I just bought a 2022 Ibex 20BHS. Did you notice anything that drained your batteries? I have 2 batteries that are charged during the day with the panel but then at night I lose all power. Not sure if the batteries are not properly charging or if something is draining them. Newbie over here.

No I havent, but at night we usually only have a light or two on. Along with the fridge, co detector. I use a jackery portable power station for the TV and DVD player if Im not on shore power.

Thanks.. Do you notice any difference when towing this 7' wide trailer vs the wide ones?
@troystud Жыл бұрын
No, not that I can think of. It pulled very well behind our Ram 2500

Okay, but what do they actually do? Where did you get it done? What's it called when you ask someone to do it? Just "lifting"? Thank you so much!

I found a trailer repair shop that does all kinds of repairs and modifications, I just asked them if they do travel trailer axle lifts and he said sure no problem. I did a 4" lift and I think thats perfect for the 19QBS . Basically they just weld a 4'" piece of metal inbetween the axle and the trailer frame. Ive taken it out 2 times since they did the work with no problems so far. If they ask what kind of axle you have the IBEX 19QBS has a Lipert Torsion Diamond not leaf springs.

Did the lift void your warrenty?
@troystud Жыл бұрын
We did the lift after the warranty expired. I'm sure it wouldn't be covered.

Do you put a cover on your IBEX? I just bought one and I wanted to know what to do with the solar when its covered. I'd love to get your take. Does your 1400W generator runs your AC?
@troystud2 жыл бұрын
I do not put a cover on, I do clean the roof / solar off every few months. No the 1400watt gen will not power the AC. Its needs a 30amp gen from what Im told. The 1400 watt is only 9amp

Update, after 23 trips in less then 3 years and 9000 miles the trailer its totaled. Our last trip was too much for it. The frame bent due to a poor mfg design causing major structural issues. Unreparable. Dont ever buy a single axle trailer with the refrigerator over the rear axle. 😢

Does the 1400 generator power the AC? Are you using a “soft start” for the AC?
@troystud2 жыл бұрын
No, I think max it only produces 9 amps. I was told the AC needs 15 amps.
