Usually us Mexicans get our daughters ears pierced at months old! I did that with both my daughters, my grandbaby as well as all my nieces it's like a traditions with us. Gringos are the ones that usually wait until they are teens to get them pierced!

Find a pediatrician who pierces ears. My granddaughter had her ears pierced at her pediatrician’s office and it was done at the same time. She was 6 years old.

Our pediatrician has offered ear piercing for over 20 yrs. Newborns to age 20. I did what my mom did; waited until they asked. But I wish I would have done it at birth or young because our 4th daughter with anxiety, autism & ADHD really wants it done for last decade but is too worried sensory issues will arise. She is 18 yrs old

I was 14. I experienced really bad pain for two days. This is a mom and dad decision if they want to pierce. If I had a girl I would have them pierced as an infant. I think it was a good decision for them because she is a toddler and will pull them out. ❤

I don't have kids, but I'm old, and can imagine "back in the day" when mama couldn't hold a cel phone with cartoons on it in front of the baby lol. I'm sure some of the O.G. parents just got the ears pierced and dealt with the trauma years later lol

To me it doesn’t matter when moms have their babies ears pierced. Got mine done when I was a baby. I have boys now so ear piercing isn’t a conversation in my household 😂

Hi Ang, my ears were pierced as an infant. Unfortunately, my ear lobes grew a little more during my childhood. Soooo, that piercing was in a bad spot on my lobes when I got older. My mother had my ears repierced when I was 12. I wished she would've waited for the latter age. Same thing happened with my granddaughter. Her mother didn't want to wait for her be a bit older. I didn't have girls, I have 3 boys so I didn't go through the baby piercing experience/ decision. But if I would've had a daughter I would wait for her to grow up to 11 or 12 years old to do it.

Next time, come to Mexico and have your next girl here. Baby girls leave hospital with pierced ears.

I have 3 daughters, I got each one of their ears pierced, and each time there were 2 girls to do the ears at the same time.. shea little, do they really think Rosie's gonna be like... wow that was fun! Let's do it again yeah don't think so! But I think waiting was good, when she's a little older it can be a mommy/daughter day🥰

I thinkI was like 4 when we did mine. So I remember it. What SUCKED is that they did a bad job on one side. And it was swollen and HURT. But my mother drove back to the mall IMMEDIATELY and had them do it again. Maybe that's why I never got any more piercings....? However Im not afraid of needles. I have tattoos. Botox. Rosie is such a cutie! Luv you all so muuuuuch!
