"I'm the big fish". To be able to say something as badass as that with no exaggeration must make you feel like a demigod

Once Ronnie retired, conditioning left the sport. We'll never see what Domain and Ronnie brought again. It'll never be the same.

Battled an absolute grinder 5th rep on squat today. Felt like an eternity. Thought i was going down to the pins in defeat. Somehow i finished it. I shook my head and said, "Data."

If you have ever trained or worked with Dorian before, either online or offline. You would know what it means to train to failure every time. and You will understand how impossible it seems everytime. The result comes after is going to shock you thou. I personally have been under DY academy for a whole year. Its hell and back every day every training. Just one year the result is crazy thou. you are basically putting on muscle and mass of a couple years on your body within one year

I think Dorian did it smarter than Ronnie, he looks fantastic now, good hair, lean and healthy. And he can walk, so I think he did it better. Of course he got injured too, but not crippled.

All of what you are talking about is not something an ordinary average person can understand. Powerlifting is a tough sport, so it's not for the average person. What really pisses me is when some Joe below average who is not a powerlifter, never was, and probably never did a sport in their life tries to ridicule the sport and the people who do it. Yet, they can't even address the sport by its correct name. These people call it "weightlifting",and they can't even understand the simple concept that they are similar yet different. I explain that weightlifting consists of the snatch along with the clean and jerk. Powerlifting consists of the squat, bench press, and deadlift. A perfect analogy would be baseball and softball. Both sports are similar and yet they a different I tell people this and it goes in one ear and out the other. Well, if they are going to have a relevant opinion about the sport then they should first of all know what powerlifting IS, and know something about it, or they should shut their mouth because their opinion doesn't matter!
