@ yeah other than licensing sometimes they charge for parking and sometimes they won’t like today I went around 8 am and we didn’t get charged for parking or nothing so yeah but weekends Fridays or special events or holidays do get charged for parking it’s like 10 bucks I think

Yeah fortunately it didn’t 😃 Family fishing is definitely one of those memorable moments! At times I’ve seen where its the complete opposite because no one is catching, and you can see in the dad’s face that they’re defeated. So i try to throw in some tips and small thoughts to support the dads i couldn’t get to that day in the water 🤙 Thanks for watching the video brotha 😃

I heard there are some crappie, never knew there were big ones! I’m gunna have to thoroughly scout that lake 😃

I was there this past weekend and we caught 2 crappie on nightcrawlers 👍🏼👍🏼

I’m glad you found it 😃 They’re not fancy, but “passable” and work. There’s a porta potty walled toilet about 10 to 15 yards away. Lke a regular toilet that flushes but with vinyl walls. No sink. There’s plenty of water spickets to wash your hands or fill your buckets. There’s also warm water showers a bit further down from camp. The spaces for dry camping aren’t spacious but the view and accessibility make up for it. Did you use the 40% discount code “EXTEND”?

It was still pretty warm then, so there was plenty of bugs out and baitfish. im not sure what it’s like now, but it shouldn’t be much different. Next week should be good! Temps are going up.

Thats cold blooded.. it is possible they spooked the fish, but if you cast parallel to the rocks you should get bit. The waves from boats crash against the rocks regularly, so the rocks the kids threw might not be much of a spook? 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@Crappie_Day maybe, this was my second time fishing here so I’m not too familiar with the fishes patterns in the lake. I hooked a few last week around the same time we went today. But we’ll try again another day, my boy seems to be interested in fishing but it was a bad day today for him with the slippery algae so he wasn’t in the best mood after his soaked stumble🤣

Oh man that slippery algae 🤦🏽‍♂️ poor guy lol But at least he is liking it and hasn’t given up 😃 Lake perris is tough, especially for kids!

@@Crappie_Day I’m hoping he gets more into it as he gets older, I will be definitely taking him to where I’d always go with my grandfather then eventually teach him how to fly fish once I learn how myself. Gotta keep traditions alive, my grandpa would always tell me how he’d fish back in Indonesia before he came to the states way back when he’d take the family fishing so I gotta keep traditions alive

I only know it’s 5 feet because I saw some dude float tube fishing and he told my brother and I that the lake seemed to be 5 feet deep, the middle lake the biggest lake.

Really they allow tube fishing?! I know it’s super shallow! I only went because they have a variety of panfish with a possible catfish lure bite. My buddy kevin catches them with lures.
