Ce n'est pas faux...mais ce jour là il y avait UN PEU de vent quand même, donc entre les 2. Par contre depuis 2 ans la météo a changé (comme partout je pense) et les conditions sont plus "extrêmes", c'est souvent "tout" ou "rien". Pas toujours facile, mais finalement ça va bien.

Construction is almost finished, that's good: soon on the water :) ! Simple design, and great efficiency. A bit physical and flighty sometimes (my vertebrae sometimes have trouble keeping up with the rhythm and power of the boat). Yes, the Skerry is more efficient than the PassageMaker. I agree with you, but for the boat in the video, the skipper being heavy, the boat sinks more from the stern. His back prevents him from moving too much in the boat, he sits better like this but he cannot move forward more (he is just in front of the bench). On the PassageMaker the bow being "round" it is not easy to put it flat. To compensate he put 40 liters of ballast at the foot of the mast so that the bow lifts less... In any case, having tested it several times, the Skerry is faster.

C'est (presque) facile de d'y être: il faut franchir le pas...c'est un autre monde!

Today we had beautiful sailing on our Zegrze Lake near Warsaw and after four hours with a reef in 3-4 Bft, I was barely alive. I'm planning a trip to the Bay of Puck (inner part of the Bay of Gdańsk) and take my sailing canoe BETH "YuanFen", but there will only be short trips out on the water... Best regards!

Totally agree ! ... This GIS was a construction on plan. The thicknesses of wood and reinforcements were very significant, the interior was raised, and it had a waterproof central box. Result a much heavier GIS than expected: 160 kg equipped (around 350 lbs). On my new GIS, I tested the same capsize, resulting in only 7 cm of water inside (evacuated easily with 2 Andersen Automatic Bailers). Much easier on my new GIS 👍!

C'était chaud oui, même la météo pour un mois d'avril: 23° air, et 13° pour l' eau (mais au thermomètre, je ne suis pas "descendu" pour tester 🙃!). Bravo ?...non, je crois que c'est cela que l'on nomme "l'instinct de survie" 😂 (j'avais peur de "mouiller" mon gilet gonflable!)
