Professors are weird, they just like that life of cycling to work. But it shouldn't be because of the situation, it must be a choice. It's my rebuttal, just coz we have professors that don't drive maGD6 doesn't mean we're failing. On other issues about supply and production in the economy i agree 110% we need to structure our economy to stimulate production and investment, have formal business not this tuckshop economy. Middle class comes with spending and that helps with economic activity which grows out GDP. That's just the rules of economics. Our Gvt is just bribing us to calsm the situation (more like populist policies pasina long term planning) It's not like they don't know the right thing to do, vanozviziva but it doesn't work in their short term rampant corrupt deals. We need a super rich leader ari dictator asina basa nezvakawanda. We'll work

I was impressed by what the doctor said from 51.00 to 52.00. However i believe Zimbabwe problems are political rather than economic. These discussions have been made but because the military government is not interested they will nevet be implemented.

Yes the economic thrust must be on manufacturing. Substitution of all able to produce items like toilet paper ,toothpicks,soaps etc etc.now wee have people who think of looting through importing products like facemasks,tyres, & so forth.how can we rely on mining only ? Really in this day and age

Just a tax correction, $100 is tax free but $101 is taxed sezvizvi, $1 @ 20% & $100 tax free. Actual tax paid will be $0.20 out of the $101.00

Listening to this guy is listening to a mad man. It is unfortunate that this mad man is part of the leadership of our country. No wonder why everything that Zanupf or the Zimbabwean government does lacks sense.

I respect and love the Professor. However, may someone clarify the statement that if you earn $100, you are not taxed, but if you earn $101, you get taxed 20%, and the professor equated this to around $20. Is this how it's now done, or they deduct $100 first and then tax the balance ?
@benedictkaruru789323 сағат бұрын
That was a slight slip. You get taxed on amount above $100 which is $1 if you are earning $101.
