In History? , how about the guys from the beginning of MLB up to Mantle? none of them mentioned so definitely not "in history".

Didn’t realize Jeter struck out so much. Wasn’t exactly a power hitter
@mrlafayette1964Күн бұрын
You have to look at the at bats as well, Jeter close to 13,000..pretty good ratio.

Especially the hitter Mike Marshall of the Dodgers. At least the pitcher Mike Marshall pitched in 106 games in 974.

All those morons that were on steroids should be taken off the list. Mickey Mantle hit 536 home runs when Yankee Stadium was 463 Dead Center and then they brought the parks made them smaller so these bobble heads could hit some old runs Mickey would’ve had 700 in a small ballpark

For you smooth brains saying that Hank still has the record because Bonds allegedly used steroids...well, back in Hanks day, they were legally allowed to use amphetamines and even though they were legal, it was still a PED. When the mlb eventually realized this they tried to ban them but players kept taking them because there was no way to test for them at the time.

First of all Babe Ruth was a Yankee , true he started with Red Sox and ended there but he was and is a YANKEE; Bonds would have never come close to Aaron if not for steroids never will ever be #1

Keep in mind that Willie Mays served 2 yrs in the military from 1952-1954. Considering that at that time in his career, in his prime, he could easily hit 40 or more hrs per year. I would guarantee that would have been without performance enhancing drugs.
