A well-made and very interesting list. The longevity of these iron men is truly amazing. Jesse Orosco forever endeared himself to Mets fans with his brilliant work in the 1986 NLCS and World Series, including 3 NLCS wins and pitching the last out of both series.

They should’ve started with Babe Ruth, who unbelievably, played 22 years in the majors. (6 with the Red Sox, 15 with the Yankees, & last year with the Boston Braves)

Forgot to list Deacon McGuire, who played 26 seasons, first year 1884, final year 1912 (missed 1889, 1909 and 1911). Had 1,750 Hits. Got a hit when he was 20, and when he was 48.

0:50. Willie Mays missed most of the 1952, and all of the 1953 seasons serving in the Army during the Korean War, so I'd say he played 21 seasons.

I was thinking that was the year Tug McGraw told everyone they could "stick it" at their victory celebration. Maybe that was 1980 mor 81

Just beginning it watch but I am pretty sure Tony Perez was on 3 World series titles. 2 with the Reds in 75 & 76 then with the Phillies Wheeze Kids in the early 1980s.

How long were the seasons back in the early days for a guy like Cap Anson? Surely not 162 games long.

amazing how most of those all-time greats have no rings
