Another 2 in the bag Andy.🏔🏔 I wish I’d taken your advice when I last done them about checking map & compass when in the clag as me & hen broon went down the wrong route of the 2nd munro and added about 6 miles onto our hike😂😂😂 You’ll need to get an external mic Andy canny hear what your saying for the wind. @hikingwithfrank315 Thanks Frank. Yeah, a couple of places I went the wrong way but luckily not too far. There's a point where you come off the 2nd munro, and there's a split in the path. It looks like they both go in the same direction. I started down the left hand one and it didnt seem right. Checked the map and it took you away from the reservoir, but easily done in the clag. I have an externalnmic Frank, but I forgot to take the bloody lead that connects it to the media.mod!! Hopefully next trip I'll get it working? ATB Andy

@ that’s the path me and Dave took from 2nd munro, we were that busy blathering that when we came out the clag we were much too far down to go back up🤣🤣

Picked a cracking pair Any love these mountains done them a few times and keep saying i am going to get back to them. Think the dam was in a star wars film not sure what one just a wee non interesting fact 😂 was a bummer you never hot the views as its stunning from up there. At least the pod looked good that you were staying in looked great 😊. ATB ALLY 👌 👍

I did these two last year mate fantastic views,I was parked up at Kilchurn Castle for 2 nights so just walked from there..the most dangerous part of the whole day was the wee walk along the A85,bloody deadly! Kilchurn Castle was only a tenner a night to park up,really handy👍🏻

A wet day andy but still managed some views i had the same conditions but never really got any views them coos are scary they blocked the road when I was trying to get past them 😅 a great route up them two andy ATB ALLY 👍👍

Hi Andy, I remember doing these in the late winter/early spring with the cattle and older calves on the path and cornices on the tops. Thought all fine until i came across the steaming hulk of a longhorn highland bull looking down on me from a rise coming back past the farm in the gloom. I inched past him holding my breath as far as the field boundary! ATB J👍🏻

Hi James, there are quite a few of the Coo's about on that walk, and they are big old beasts that could do a lot of damage, even unintentionally so a bit of caution around them isn't a bad thing. ATB Andy

Some of the finest country in the UK - you can put together a 2-3 day circuit through fabulous wild country. Back in 1975, we did a soaking wet summit camp on Loony Bin with our waterlogged canvas tent and huge brass stove. We saw a strange and exotic pair of eagles hunting over Loch Hourne. When we got home we identified them as Sea Eagles, which had been extinct in Scotland since WWI. So we rang the RSPB, and they told us that they had just re-introduced them to Rum, and could we kindly keep it to ourselves to help keep them safe...
