Glen Afric Day 2, An emotional 100th Munro, and an unexpected meeting!!

Day 2 sees me heading off from the YH with Paul and Colin back towards the car park but then heading off on my own to tackle 3 more Munros and bagging my 100th Munro which had a special meaning. Also I bump into someone I know!!!!

Great effort Andy and enjoying seeing your journey. A very fitting tribute to your brother. he'd have been with you the whole way. I lost my brother in 2003 under the same tragic circumstances, he was a Munro bagger, and its taken me 20 years to make a start, I had to experience why he loved the mountains and now I'm hooked. All the very best and might bump into you again somewhere in 2024.

Hi Mark, nice to hear from you. I remember you speaking about your brother when I met you obviously not the details. Yes it is very tragic when stuff like that happens. My brother wasn't a bagger but we'd had a few outdoor trips together. Happy New year and I'll keep an eye out for you 🤣 ATB Andy

"Once I go up I will be on the ridge somewhere!" 🤣The work that goes into those Cairns and shelters always amazes me. Nice tribute to your Bro - respect mate, nice touch. 😅Yip was walking up behind a big group and i spotted Paul at the front of them got a really good chat on way up. I went on to do the other Corbett and i then meet up with Paul on way back down was great to finally meet Paul he's a top guy said to Paul would be great to get some adventures in the new year. Great video. Don’t know if you believe in this kind of thing, but the fact you bumped into someone you knew on the middle of a Scottish mountain on the anniversary of your brothers death - feels like too much of a coincidence. It may well be a sign from your brother, in the form of someone you know, to let you know he’s always with you on your mountain adventures. ⛰️♥️
