93 octane with upgraded turbos next??
@Dmand187292 ай бұрын
I am hoping they comment on the potential for e85. I figure the fuel pump or injector duty cycle goes too high, but I wanna hear them say it. Hopefully it is as simple as new injectors to allow it.

@@Dmand18729@kchiang4200 we will have more information about the turbo upgrades next week. Additional power is possible with out the need to upgrade the fuel system. Thankfully, the factory left quite a bit of overhead on the factory fuel system.

this is awsome work but it makes me wonder, why would I chose a k20c1 conversion for roughly £15k instead of a turbo conversion for existing f20c at £5k roughly and probably more power and torque on stock internals than the k20c1. I' m curious if anyone has any thoughts on my thinking 🤷🏻♂️

Are they also compatible with aftermarket lugs? Or are the holes at least a little bigger so sockets don't get stuck?
@ScienceofSpeedLLC4 ай бұрын
These wheels are compatible with the factory 14mm radius lug nuts. Aftermarket lug nuts with the same shape will be compatible. The lug nut bores can fit sockets with out issue. Thank you for your interest!

Uhh. OEM is available. Just because you can't get them doesn't mean you should make false claims that they're discontinued.
@dvidn8789 ай бұрын
At what part of the video did he say discontinued? Unless back ordered now means discontinued? Talk about making false claims….
@memyselfandi7619 ай бұрын
@@dvidn878 I’m sorry, you are correct. I should have used the word backordered instead. However, the situation has changed since then. A few hundred were reissued by Honda a few weeks ago. Therefore, the statement that “the supply of factory parts has dried up and future availability is unknown” is not true.
@dvidn8789 ай бұрын
@@memyselfandi761You gotta understand that a product like this doesn’t just spring up overnight, these guys have probably been working on getting these made for weeks/months between the idea of making them to getting prototypes made, and finally a finished product they could sell. Fate just so happens that Honda released a few hundred right as this product was being released. Don’t think it’s fair to say they’re making false claims here.
@memyselfandi7619 ай бұрын
@@dvidn878Now that Honda has made it available, don’t you think they should update the description? After all, they are going to supply hundreds or more of these bars until 2040, when they will stop producing NSX parts at the factory. Instead of using a “scare” tactic to persuade potential customers that it is no longer available from Honda, they should be honest and say that these are replica versions of the original bars that are still available. SOS has a reputation for doing this with their other remade replica parts so they get more profit from their own products by making customers think that the OEM ones are no longer available.
@Harmonic148 ай бұрын
@@memyselfandi761 I'm interested to hear where you can get one of those reissued sets of bars. If SoS can't get them, I don't know where else to look

@@orleansjunky4074would you put a $300 eBay part on a six-figure car? NC1 owners are a discerning bunch and happy to spend what it costs to get something that has SoS’ reputation for thorough development, durability, and longevity behind it. This isn’t the Civic community.

This is what we were looking for. It's ok to show that midrange loss because it's not about shear gain/loss it's also about reliability. People should ask the question if 8-9hp loss in the midrange is worth not having to worry about losing a motor due to the screws backing out.
@LapoftheWorld9 ай бұрын
Very cool data point here and definitely a very lucky owner! I'd say that the fractional torque loss at low RPM on the 3.2 will be far less noticeable than the noises that would happen if the engine ingests a butterfly screw. Solid K.I.S.S. solution that could prevent an expensive incident.

Will the delet kit increase high rpm response past 8.2k?
@ScienceofSpeedLLC9 ай бұрын
Sorry, this is not something we plan to test as we question the stress on the engine's reciprocating parts at that speed.
