My 2006 lunar lexon already has this fitted as standard, this isn't a new thing.

All I can say is great job and way to go for you. Certainly not in your 30s anymore. Free wood is great who cares what size . As your woodstove doesn't know what kinda wood your loading up. Nice axe collection. I love fiskars , great axes. Keep chopping mate.

A good silcon sealant and adhesive like sikaflex will fix the chanel very strongly

I also made one for my bailey wyoming after rebuilding the front window frames. My chanel is plastic and works very well and gives me confidence it will stop most water ingress that would normaly occur

I have a 1995 eldis thats got severe water ingress on the top corner of my front window. It was there when i bought it, but my missus and i ever saw it under the interior patch up. Now, i only want a couple more years out of it and then its getting split up and scrapped as eveything works how it should etc. This idea is ideal for me, along with some transparant form of sealant to completely seal up one front window. Brilluant idea mate. Ill let you know how i get on. Cheers. 😊

I wince every time the axe comes down with his hand near the blade.

Wrongly used hence the implausible reading ...1. The sleeve you put on was incorrectly positioned. It needs to be 1-2cm above the elbow point. 2. It's also important that the 'art' marker is aligned to the artery down the inner side of your arm. 3. The tube needs to follow down the inside of your arm to between your middle finger, with your arm resting on a table in front of you and your palm facing upwards.

Excellent mod. Our 2012 Lunar Lexon has a bar similar to that fitted as standard. Our strip extends beyond the width of the caravan on each side so the water actually drains well clear of the van.

Incorrectly used in two ways, firstly it needs to be well above the elbow, at least 1cm above the crease in the arm. Secondly the tube needs to be on the inside of the elbow. The cuff is marked with a dot and "ART" where it needs to line up. Both of these requirements are detailed in the instructions, not doing it properly could give you inaccurate results.

Thanks, this saved me calling out a plumber! I had to buy a double pack of the rubber bellows on Amazon, to get next day delivery, but fitting was easy after watching your video. (Needed a bit of wd40 on that securing ring, after 20-odd years it was pretty tight). And now I've got a spare rubber bellow for when it breaks again in another couple of decades!
