Great, I posted the video to help save people from rip off plumbers, and manufacturers! For decades we used wire and a simple lever to flush loos, why make it more complicated and less reliable?

Thank you. This made my job easy. As I was in a hurry I spent £28 on a replacement Grohe button at a plumbers merchant for same day repair. Saved the plumber call out!

Saved us £60. I opened up and saw the rubber piece had a crack in it, bit of gorilla glue and it’s good as new

Thanks, this saved me calling out a plumber! I had to buy a double pack of the rubber bellows on Amazon, to get next day delivery, but fitting was easy after watching your video. (Needed a bit of wd40 on that securing ring, after 20-odd years it was pretty tight). And now I've got a spare rubber bellow for when it breaks again in another couple of decades! Thanks for the video!

Hi, I am experiencing this issue also and have ordered the rubber. How did you separate the button from the plastic to get to the old rubber?! It feels that tight as though it doesn't come apart ?! Thank you

@@mrmikevegas1 two years later you probably fixed it but incase anyone else has the same problem - the silver part looks like it's fixed to the white plastic part but it just wiggles off.
