A high yeild is great, but if the stock declines and doesn't go back up its a yeild trap. I entered 6/14/24 at 55.44 now avg down to 54.27. Rolling divys back into the stock, but concerned about how long it will take to get back to even with divys. Todays price 8/29/24 is 50.62. With dividends so far I'm still in the red. I'm not confident enough to roll any more cash into this. I'm left to assume I entered at the all time high. If it doesn't grow much or goes down I see it as a loosing stock, hence a yeild trap. I'll let it run until the end of the year to see where it goes.
