Not a common choice but the ad200 is a perfect amp for this use. I use mine with baritone and high gain and fuzz on my board. But hot pickups will push it into medium/high gain on its own. I have the rv100mk3 and ad140 that are both great but the 200 adds the massive bottom end without that mid suck you get from most bass amps.

I’m afraid to say this cuz they are so hard to find but F it. Actually a question Too. Have You tried the MidvalleyFx Peaks distortion Westminster Skillet Guitarist pedal) or the New Knuckles By UAFX? I’m a Diehard Rectifier Fan. You spend 4200$ on an amp as A Teenager in the 90s and You gotta know it’s Love. I’ve been meaning to try the Grenade Parade Pedal too, but it’s not a Muff. They are essential for a Specific Timbre, and known for it

Price inflated beyond any logical argument. Hard pass for me. Rather spend this money for another used/budget friendly tube amp. Great video tho.
@FuzzedDrones4 күн бұрын
I can see where you coming from for sure . But honestly $200-$250 is the average price of a pedal these days . But as always I appreciate ya and thanks for checking the demo out !
@saturnskull12424 күн бұрын
@@FuzzedDrones I know it's the usual price man, and that's why I stopped buying. I don't see any point paying that much for a muff or a ff. Keep the vids coming man, I especially like your small pedal builders series, cheers

What a lame complaint… 😂
@TheFunky57Күн бұрын
Absolutely agree. If it's an original circuit, maybe. But taking a 50 year old circuit and adding an EQ to it, then asking the price of an amp for it is crazy. In a mix, you'd probably never tell this apart from a hizumitas, which is $120. Like you say, pass.

I hate to be that guy, but the green Russians and Black Russians are early 90s after EHX went bankrupt at the end of the 80s and started making products in Soviet Union. In the early 70s they had the triangle and rams head. Amazing video though, just little facts. If I’m wrong tell me, but v7 is a much later model and you said v7-early 70s.

@FuzzedDrones4 күн бұрын
To each their own . The jacks really don’t bother me honestly . I kind of dig it since it’s sort of paying homage to the original design a bit . Little things like that I get a kick out of.
