I did some community volunteer work about five years ago at the local garbage transfer station down here in Central Florida, where I live and they send the recycling trucks and the garbage trucks out separately to pick everything up and then when they get back to the transfer station, they dump it all in one pile I’ll mix it all together and haul it off so we’ve been separating trash and recyclables for years for no reason down here because behind the scenes it all gets put in the same place anyway..
